they're desperately pushing gally on ttk newbs
Gally was once so powerful it could utterly crush any boss in seconds.
When it dropped for you you scream in excitement.
They nerfed it.
Now - they're using the scream reactions from people who got the OLD gally to promote the average launcher they made it into just before ttk.
The kids who bought ttk MIGHT not realise the weapon is different from when it first came out.
That's what bungie is relying on.
They're hoping the new kids don't know gally was nerfed into average and they want their money.
That's kind of dishonest.
That's kind of how bungie has become since destiny came out. It's really smudged their epic name and I think - taken out of the legendary developer status they once were.
It's money though right? Good for you guys.

30 отв.What I don't get is that certain weapons like gally or black hammer, fate bringer, etc.....Is what made the grind worth it. Bungie took all our favorite weapons and made them shit or left them behind. Now they are using gally as an attraction for the new dlc. Wtf bungie? How about you just give us the weapons that made the game great back? Bungie needs to write a book. "How to Lose With a Winning Hand."

1 ответThe only reason they had the gally In the game was to level the playing field against dregs. They're op and annoying. I'm always minding my own business on patrol then get smacked by a damn dreg with a shrapnel launcher. We need the gally back if we want any chance in continuing to fight back against dregs. Dregs are op and that's why they're bringing it back in the next dlc to have a decent weapon to kill the new dregs. Our peashooters will do nothing to them in the new dlc. Please nerf dregs.

4 отв.You know what's funny? I've decided my pre-ordering of it will be determined by whether or not I am disallowed the regular Y3 Gjallarhorn or not. I like the black and silver fine.. but the white and gold is where it's at. If it's a skin replacer and not a different (statistically identical) variant.. I'm gonna wait until after it's out, lol.

9 отв.People really need to stop pre-ordering. No one should pre-order anything from any developer or publisher, least of all Bungie / Activision, ever again. Ever. Again. Buy the game once it is released. Buy all the dlc after it is released. Blow your next paycheck on micro transactions too if you like. But for the love of God, buy it once it is presented as a complete, finished product. Buy it based on it's merit and your personal estimation of it's worth AS A FINISHED PRODUCT. STOP GIVING THESE PEOPLE MONEY FOR A PRODUCT THAT ISN'T EVEN DONE. STOP THROWING MONEY AT THEM BASED ON ADVERTISING (FLUFF AND LIES). Pre-orders completely take away all incentive for them to work harder to earn you money. Pre-orders allow them to half-ass their product, and profit from it.

When I saw the preordering offer, I just grabbed year one Gally out of my vault with Icebreaker and the year one Crota raid scout rifle and went to Earth Patrol and had a blast. I would shoot people entering the zone with Gally and then just dance when they would look at me. I did not preorder. I have no plans on getting the new DLC.

Bottom line is....if you want to continue the story(game)of destiny you have to buy the dlc, so why not preorder and get whatever they wanna give you? It would be different if preorder was the ONLY way to get a galley but it's not. It would be different if it were a brand new game that no one new anything about but it's not. It's a skin for a gun not a evil plan to steal your money. Stop being idiots.

They've already stated whether you pre-order or not everyone gets a gjallarhorn through a quest in the Rise of Iron campaign......the iron part is just a skin for those who want to pre-order. NOT A BIG DEAL. IF!!!.....the only way to get one was by pre-ordering then that would be pushing sales with an old gun

Yes it may be a selling tool. Yes it may not be as powerful. So? Id use it even now. In its year one condition. I got my gjallarhorn late in the year. In HoW i believe. It was difficult to get. Should it still be difficult to get? Yes. It should. Will i preorder rise of iron for that reskin? Yes. I will. Why? To give bungie more money? To let them butcher me out of my money? No. Thats not the point. The point is, whether they nerf it or not, im still going to use it. Why? Bc its just fun to use. I love the Gjallarhorn. I love Destiny and playing it is so mch fun to me. Yeah it may be hard, it may not deal as much damage, but i will still have fun using it. And if the ppl that youre playing with are fun to play with, thats half the fun right there. So idc what anyone says. I will preorder. I will play. And i will have fun

2 отв.By allowing people to preorder, it gives everyone the advantage of not using it as an excuse to be excluded in end game content on lfg. The nerf was a consequence of that previously. Year 2 people will just want the legend. Year 1 people will either want it for collection purposes or nostalgia. We already know it's been nerfed and with the reduction in heavy, most of us have already found other weapons that take its place.

The wolfpack rounds where nerfed by 30%. Before the nerf the wolfpack rounds did a rocket and a half of damage so I would say the rocket launcher should do about 1.5 the damage of a normal rocket launcher. Don't see a problem with getting our gally back if this is the case.

When people went dog shit stupid over a black ghorn I got sick. What people fail to understand is, they starve players of stuff for a reason(answers, content, ect). So that when they finally fix something in the game or add new content (that probably takes no time to add) players are overly grateful, are fixing for it, and will pay more for less. Think about feens and Drug dealers. That's what most of bungie and fanboys are to each other. Smfh

The whole gjally bait saga is disgusting. The amount on here that think they will have a shiny gjally waiting at the postmaster on release day. Bungie have deliberately worded the reveal and info to mislead. As you said though, they're happy to watch the forums burn that day, they already have the money.

So essentially you spent months to acquire in game items. Then we killed them Then we brought them back for you to re earn. You get a pretty black one if you pre order. Because we need to get a stat on expected revenue. There are some new places. Sort of. We expanded the places youve already been. You know the stuff you could see but couldnt get to. Thats it. No change to light level system. Just a raise. Cause your grind. Grinds us cash. This is what we spent an entire year developing at bungie. No really. An entire year, and you release a mini dlc? No thanks. I may come back in a year to see what the game looks like. I am definitely out of this dlc smackage. I hope cod, and the division release major sequels within the coming months before people buy this. Bloodborne 2 anyone?
