Bloodborne
Finally, purchased and started bloodborne. I wish I had not waited so long to play it. It is also my first time playing a souls type game.
I am going for a skill/ arcane build for my first run. If you have played bloodborne what was your first and/or favorite build?

I didn't think about my build enough when I started and spread my stats too much, wasted a lot of levels up. Best advice is to make sure you level health up, makes a big difference on the boss fights.

1 ответI used the saw and pistol from the start, with most of my stats going into str, stm, and vit. It honestly wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, I beat most bosses on my third try. Except Rom. [spoiler]-blam!- YOU ROM![/spoiler]

I always do a str play and a dex/skill play. Always end up maining on the str char tho. Done arcane and tinge but in all souls game I have the most fun with str

1 ответI used the axe for the entire game. Even the dlc I still used the axe on my main character. Later on in NG+ I switched to the burial blade and I leveled up my skill to match my strength. Honestly bloodborne is amazing, but for a first time souls game I would say to focus on endurance, health, and either skill or strength. It's a noob build but it's the most forgiving build for newcomers. If you're into parrying then focus on bloodtinge instead of endurance.

2 отв.I wouldn't advise a skill/arcane build as your first, but that isn't up for me. I would advise going either pure skill or make a quality build( str and skill), in that way, you could practically use every weapon in the game.

I'm absolutely loving Ludwig's Holy Blade, the greatsword form has more speed than I was expecting. Not sure what I want to go for aside from strength, I've been somewhat focusing on survival so my skill, blood tinge and arcane are all at a point where I should probably choose one soon.

I started off strength. That's really it lmao. The weapons I used before the DLC were the Kirk Hammer and the Logarius Wheel. Now, I'm leveling up the whirligig saw and boom hammer.

I first went with a skill/strength build. If you're going for arcane, I would recommend using weapons like the sword cane or the holy moonlight blade. Other than that, git gud and don't be a casul

2 отв.First (and only) build was Arcane/Strength, with Ludwig's Holy Blade & Tonitrus, with the Augur of Ebrietas. I actually haven't beat it yet. Currently running through the DLC. [spoiler]stuck on the Orphan of Kos & Laurence, the First Vicar[/spoiler]

1 ответEnded up sticking with the Blades Of Mercy my first run through. Killed the chick to get them by making her fall off the tower. After getting to be extremely agile I hated trying to use any of the slower weapons for any non-agility build as sure I couldn't one shot anyone but I attacked so fast for so long that I just turned everyone into a pincushion. Then came my 2nd weapon.... the Rakuyo.... Jesus I loved my katana/dagger build.
