Don't bother playing iron banner unless you're in a team
It's b'shit. One sided f'ing b'shit.
I'm a solo player who gets dropped in on f'ing teams that are loosing EVERY f'ing time.
Shame on you Bungie. I'm slogging away trying to play ib to get the rewards and getting completely and utterly wiped. I confess I'm not a f'ing crucible diehard so clearly there is no room for me in ib.

2 отв.I fly solo and have had no problems of note. Remember, everyone, you're more likely to join a team of 3-5 than face a team of 6. And for reals... That team of 6 that just crushed your nuts? They were going to do it in Control. And Clash. And any other team game you can think of.

Been doing it SOLO at 299 light or below all week have two level 3 ranks already and not stopping till I farm everything. Def solo is a challenge but It is very fun to see ur whole team leave and face 6 guardians till they can't stand getting whipped by you. This weekend gonna be a massacre

Every IB is meant for a fireteam...not just the rift version...its always a 6v6 based mode which ALWAYS encourages you to join a fireteam...people have a problem with rift because its an objective-based game mode that requires communication to win...even if your teammates know exactly what to do, its hard to coordinate without communication... just because you can go into IB Control and win some matches solo doesn't mean you will beat those 6-man fireteams...anyway, some of us who take the time to meet friends online are loving IB Rift...once again, Destiny wasn't made to be a solo players game

I don't have friends. I play solo all the time. I have more fun that way and a lot of the games I'm in usually are winners.

Bungie has done A LOT of dumb shit to Destiny. This is one of the dumbest. Solo players get -blam!-ed hard on this mode.

Had a blast solo in IB last night! Ya you get put with some crap sometimes but do it yourself get the spark and run like forest gump!

If you're so crappy that you lose 5 games in a row, you can still get dropped into a group of other solo players or have a fireteam on your side that'll carry you to a win and get all the rep you need.

So not true. I've been running almost exclusively solo and it's been fine. About a 50% win rate.

I am a solo player and reached level 5 yesterday.... thats two days after it started. going to finish up my other two characters monday. bonuses accumulate and you can literally level up your other characters in about two hours each to level five. Once your first character hits five you get bonus exp for the other two and daily everything adds up...

2 отв.I play solo and I find that when I get dropped into a game in progress the team I am on improves for a couple of minutes, that's not to say I make the difference or I am good because I am not. It does seem that a high percentage of games I've seen or have been a part of have been one sided, guessing @40%. I'm not sure as to the mechanics of matchmaking and its relevance to the blow outs. I will say that if a team has a good runner (or a few good runners) that is where the onslaught comes in. No good runners is a close game, equal number of good runners is a close game but once that is skewed someone is getting a beating. P.s. I am awful at running, warlock is my brother and he's okay, I'm the hunter & Titan and can't run to save my life.

Played only 3 games solo so far I think. 2 of which were against a 6 man team and the last was made of 2 3 man teams. For 1 of the 6 mans, my team had myself, a random, and a 4 man team, and the other 2 games we were all randoms. Won all 3 games.

Always solo, 10-7 and about 2 3/4 IB level. A couple of bad matches I was dropped into but same thing on the good side.

I fly solo, and have been winning over 50% of my matches, never more than 2 Medallions at a time. There are some blowouts but just as often as I'm the victim of the blowout I'm the one giving it, so personally I don't really see what the big issue is. I also have had a MUCH better experience these last couple days than I was having Tuesday! Things may not be 100% lag wise, but sure are much better, for me at least.

IB should have team matchmaking and a separate solo matchmaking. It should be connectivity based only but spilt the teams up with skill as the deciding factor

2 отв.Too bad. I got dropped into a match on the winning team. Got 2 kills, 1 death and the match ended. 2.0 K/D and used the medallions I had to advance to level 4. 1 decent chest armour drop @ 298 to start. I'm a mediocre player who is having fun. Will get to 5 tonight

I'm no good at pvp and don't play much. This is my first iron banner, and I am having fun. Nobody talks on the mic which makes it tough but oh well. Win one lose two. No big deal.
