He was stabbed in the chest with a lightsaber 2. He fell into a seemingly bottomless abyss 3. Even if he did somehow survive that then the planet he fell into imploded and [u]literally[/u] turned into a sun. Still think he's alive?[/spoiler]

I don't understand how a guy who had at least [i]some[/i] jedi training, who could choke people with the force and stop blasters in mid air, was able to be fended off briefly by an ex stormtrooper, and then be essentially beaten by an untrained girl. I hated Kylo Ren. I also wasn't a huge fan of the plot, given it was basically a new hope, but I guess I can let that slide. I also felt like Han's death was cheap. I thought it was stupid how the Snoke guy or whatever had to have a gigantic hologram in what was built like a throne room. Also, is the girl so powerful that she's able to develop her force abilities to the point of the "Jedi Mind Trick" with no training at all? That just felt really forced to me. I don't get what the point was of the shiny stormtrooper either. She didn't really do much of anything.

4 отв.Kylo Ren was by far the coolest character in the Star Wars series until he took off his mask. After that he was just a whiny little bitch that annoyed me to no end...other than that great movie

Loved it, only problem was the NUMEROUS A New Hope callbacks. Besides that, I was nerding out constantly.

It's awesome!!! I saw it Thursday, and I'm going to see it again today! So excited for the next one. Disney say Star Wars 8 will be in theaters 5/17/17!!!

3 отв.Изменено (jdotzz117): 12/20/2015 8:26:48 AMFor anyone baffled by the Rey-Kylo duel, I've got something Considering Rey's apparent very strong Force connection, and the connection that the lightsaber itself has because it was wielded by both Anakin and Luke, who were both very powerful Force users, Rey can channel those connections together so she can use the lightsaber. Plus her already-existing martial skill that she displayed on Jakku against the stormtroopers. It could also have something to do with the fact that Rey is part of the Skywalker line somehow, whether it be by Luke or Leia, and thus her connection to the saber would be strengthened. Not to mention the injuries Ren sustained from Chewbacca's bowcaster and Finn's lucky strike at Ren's shoulder. How does the saber have a connection? Rule of thumb is if it's been exposed to enough raw Force power, it's a Force nexus

3 отв.My thoughts.... The guy, Adam driver, who played Kylo Ren, I disliked because of how he looks. Also, he has big ass ears. On the bridge where Han died, they have his hair so his goofy ears are hidden. Kylo Ren is like a child. The funny banter made me laugh. I think Rey is Luke's daughter.
