1 ответI wonder if people would pay to watch me suck at PVP and take an hour to do jumping puzzles (white men cannot indeed jump) alternative comedy channel.

Sadly youtubers who put effort in their videos get shifted for mindless effortless video game commentary from steam and youtube, That has minimum effort involved.

You big nerd. Keep in mind, the stream only matters if you're happy and having fun with it all. Just keep doing it and enjoying it.

47 отв.Изменено (TheCodingKat): 11/18/2015 5:16:48 PMPeople that don't stream that say they're not working have no idea how hard it really is. When I first started streaming you barely get any viewers and most of the time you have to try to sort through viewers who are complete trolls. It was 3x worse for me because as a chick I had so many "I'll pay you 100 dollars to show your tits". When you stream you not only have to entertain the WHOLE time you are playing, but you have to at least play well and reply to viewers. You're multitasking. You have to work to make setups for any tips or donations to help fund your stream to make it better, you have to have decent equipment if you want viewers and even then you may or may not get people watching for a long time. Someone getting their first tip/donation is the happiest thing that could ever happen to a streamer. I'm not a fan of girl streamers who use their "girly assests" for viewers or top streamers who have gotten so into themselves they no longer feel the need to reply to their viewers. Congrats on the 2k donation. I would've cried as well. It's too bad I wit streaming but in glad I did because I just can't touch destiny anymore. :( Edit: And to those of you saying how stupid streaming is and calling me "idiotic" for believing that. I was like you once before I attempted streaming and understand more. You seem to think streamers get "payed" for by people. It's people who watch that donate because they're supporting that streamer. If you've never done it or have streamed before then I'm avoiding your ignorance. I don't stream anymore and have my own full time job. Edit 2: lol. The amount of hate towards any sort of streamers is ridiculous. I've never seen/heard so many people hating on twitch.

2 отв.Good job buddy you deserve all the praise.Love all your content.Keep up the great videos.

the funniest part is whether people agree or disagree, streamers will continue to make money...opinions only matter to those who don't have the self confidence to keep on doing their thing...who is wasting more time? the guy getting paid to play games or the ones who take the time to complain about it?

7 отв.I always say this to people who don't understand the twitch donation thing. Lots of twitch users are youtubers. I dont think people deny that, that's a job. Editing videos takes a ton of time and searching through hours of footage as well. More often than not these users are working on youtube more than 40 hours a week. Lots of people find youtube videos entertaining, youtube kind of replaces tv shows for a lot of the younger generation. Twitch is a way for these youtubers to be more accessible to their youtube subscribers. A youtube comment is often overlooked but subscribers have a much better chance of getting noticed by the entertainer on twitch. These twitch streamers do this activity for free, there is no guaranteed amount, the twitch streamer could easily give up twitch and solely upload youtube videos and probably make more money but they do it as a service to their subscribers. Subscribers then donate to encourage the youtuber to continue providing that access. If Robert Downey Jr did a QnA on twitch while filming avengers 3 and would continue to do so if he got enough donations you'd probably donate right? Its not the activity its the access to the entertainer. I'm an older person but I understand this new medium now, its here to stay so instead of bickering like old men, start accepting it. /drops mic

Gotta love all the butthurt people who get jealous over twitch donations. If you salty bunch didnt know, its not easy to keep a succesfull twitch channel. Not everyone can do it. If you guys think it takes no effort, do it yourself.
-
Okay so I might be wild as hell but is the bilbo guy who donated $1000 Martin shkreli?
-
I work 40 hours a week and I wanna start streaming so bad. I find it extremely hard to get a good start considering how much I work. I'm a techy but don't know the first thing about twitch :( congrats though bro that's amazing .. I would have cried too seriously
-
Congratulations! I mostly stream for funsies, but I don't think I'll ever do it as a job. Maybe someday I'll put the option out there, but if I have it my way, I'll make money off my writing. XD I hope you continue to have some success!
