Back when this game favored hardworking players g-horn being sold would've angered me. But now that bungie caters so heavily to casuals I don't even care. This game is slowly getting more boring. Legendary drops mean nothing to me. Exotic drops mean nothing to me. Bungie wants everyone to feel special, so this move doesn't surprise me.
I'm considering leaving this game strictly because it's become boring. They're letting all new players fast forward through the first year while effectively destroying our best pve weapons. They've become full of greed. They only care about new players coming, not about players who have dedicated (wasted) so much time on this game.
I used to love pve content, but HoW offered an easy strike and the most boring series of circular rooms in the history of bungie (PoE). The only fun part of this dlc was trials. That's it. Our legendary weapons that we treasure so much wouldn't have become useless if bungie didn't make etheric light. Etheric light will be useless in year 2 so we may as well not play anymore end game content.
Bungie is nerfing shotguns when in reality they wouldn't be a problem if they didn't let us re-roll them until they become overpowered. It took bungie months to notice that thorn was op. Do they even pay attention? Auto rifles have been trash since tdb came out and they just recently addressed it?
To sum up, this game used to be fun but now only caters to players who don't spend very much time playing while effectively making all of our year 1 efforts useless.

1 ответRemember when FPS online were just about matchmaking, repeatedly playing the same game type for hours? Now we have this amazing luxury that is Destiny. When u complain about such elementary things u have lost the passion in gaming. U no longer play to have fun, u play to be the best and when u don't succeed u take it out on other people and it makes u look foolish. I hope u find your way back to the light guardian and begin to play again because u have the luxury of enjoying this piece.

True. Bungie has ruined Destiny. I remember when I felt good about my legendary drops and weapons. Now legendaries are more common than rare drops.

You do what business ethics are right? New customers=more money. While yes all the day oners may not be in the spotlight, it's just how it works. Im sure we're revered for the shit show we went through but what matters most is the numbers/ dollar signs. Sadly

You do realize that the plan for Destiny is a 10 year plan. Many gains and losses will occur in that time. Changes are inevitable. Faith and hopes will rise and fall. Guardians will leave and join for many reasons. In all, they will cater to their goals, not yours. Happy, stay. Unhappy, leave. Your gain or loss is $59.00 to a billion dollar franchise. In a word: inconsequential... Chose wisely Guardian. Or, should I say: bye former Guardian? Which will it be?

1 ответYes, it does SEEM like Bungie is moving to make this game more accessible to casual players. I've put in hundreds of hours into this game as well so I understand why you might feel frustrated. HOWEVER, think about it this way: You may also have more free time to yourself as well to go play other games! I got burned out in June(beta/day one player) and I only started playing again last week. I have one character of each class, all at 34, and I have ALL exotic weapons and ALL exotic armor except for the new boots for my Titan. I came back because I'm hopeful the changes that will come with TTK will be positive. I think we were dumb to put in so many hours, week after week... But wasn't it also fun? We put in those hours because we felt like we had to, to acquire all new gear and weapons. Maybe with these changes, we won't feel so forced into it, and we can simply play for the fun factor. We'll have to wait and see!

Изменено (OdinsKnight101): 8/14/2015 11:35:16 AMI've said it once and I'll say it again. I played through the entire destiny content has to offer the grind the multiplayer the guns my 3 34s are all there and I had lots of fun. But destiny isn't the only game I have to play I have other games to complete as well eg ff13 series dragons dogma halo sometimes. It's not like there forcing anyone to keep playing the same content for 3 years. You have offer games to play and expirance. Meh I could go on but I think my point is across by now. Sos for any bad grammar.

1 ответI don't mind that Xur is selling the Gjallarhorn. I do agree with your post though. This one statement sums it up. "When everything is powerful, nothing is powerful." You can't have the bitter without the sweet. Your point about the shotguns is spot on. If they didn't let so many people have easy access to a perfect roll, then there wouldn't be so many powerful ones in the wild and it would actually be special if one with a good roll dropped. Now, no roll is special because you can just keep redoing it until you have what you want. In a game like this, there needs to be certain items and certain rolls that are overpowering. They just can't be easily and frequently obtained. The game started out this way, but in this "world of fairness" we now live in, everybody thinks everyone should have everything. When everyone has everything, nothing is special anymore and the game gets boring. I'm not saying I no longer enjoy it or plan to quit playing, but I do see your point and I hope that they turn things around in year 2.

2 отв.Destroyed the game? No it's more like "here have fun with the weapon till we Nerf it and then you can try our other new cooler exotics you will be more happy to achieve" kinda thing. Just wait a couple of weeks for the massive weapon rebalancing then we'll see if it's useful in anything other than PvP.

9 отв.Изменено (Azurai): 8/14/2015 10:55:27 AMYou are what is wrong with gaming. Rampant elitism doesn't help anyone other the the elitists who want to stroke their egos. I have had my Ghorn for a long time. I'm happy for everyone who has it now. It means that we can all shred bosses easier.
-
18 отв.FIRST: Xur sold Gjallahorn before. It was the second or third thing he sold. Should everyone who got it then be complained about too? SECOND: By virtue of the RNG that runs Destiny, you didn't earn Gjallahorn if it dropped for you. You got lucky. Anyone who comes in and plays anything with a possibility of causing a Gjally drop could have gotten it. Your odds do not increase with more play time. The law of averages is a fallacy. THIRD: You don't now, nor have you ever, had to play with any "casuals". If you're so hardcore, you would have built a fireteam of equally die-hard friends to help you with raids, prison of elders, etc.
get over yourself MLG wannabe

I just got gjallahorn from the nightfall yesterday. Am I upset that Xur is selling it now? No. Why? Because now my friends that don't have it (of which I have several) can get it and we can go ham wild on Skolas
4 отв.Please leave the game. Your a cancer to the community

8 отв.I'm a beta player and your thought process is why games disappear too soon. Such as Evolve, Titanfall etc. Communities do not grow out of elitism they grow throw sharing and support.
