Xur selling Gjallarhorn. What are your thoughts??
So what are your thoughts on this? I personally think it's ok.

Edit 1-I personally think it's fine. I have 3 already.

Refreshing to see a guardian who isn't bitter that xur is selling it, makes no sense to me when the forums are constantly filled with people complaining that they want a galley and now everyone is complaining that he finally sold it (well just the people that already have it)

I'm stoked I finally got it. Been playing since November. Almost cried when I saw it there. Although I'm disappointed I'll only really be able to enjoy it for a month, considering the nerfing and the new, most likely better, weapons.

Who cares. I'm just glad everyone can have it. It will soon be irrelevant. It's a fun powerful weapon though. Get it leveled and enjoy melting something down.

I have several, i bought one on week 2 and have been lucky with rolls since then. Since it is often still a requirement on LFG people are excluded for not having it I think it's great. If I was some guy who's 1500 hours in and been screwed by the RNG I would be ecstatic. The nerf has been mentioned a lot in these threads but I suspect it will still be the best RL in the game and I want the people I play with to have one so I think it's -blam!-ing awesome.

I think it's GREAT! With the upcoming nerf to the wolfpack rounds this weapon in Destiny will not be what it was.. similar to what happened to Mythoclast. Unlike Mythoclast though, where you had to beat Atheon on hard difficulty (god knows all of us from day 1 know how hard we grinded for hours to get that gun and beat Atheon even before the glitches), Gally was never really earned. It was a product of RNG and some people who played every day for thousands of hour didn't get it. They were just unlucky. Well I'm happy for everyone who will have a chance to experience this awesome weapon now at least a month before they nerf it. People forget, or don't know.. Xur sold Gally in the beginning, so a lot of people had a chance to buy it then. However, noobish as we were most of us had no clue how powerful this rocket launcher was and we missed the opportunity to buy it then. Not to mention that strange coins were HARD to come by because the ONLY way you could get strange coins was from weekly strikes at highest difficulty and if you had 20 something strange coins when Xur comes you were LUCKY (that meant you had multiple characters). So seeing these little kids getting all upset because other people can now buy Gally because somehow they felt special for owning it is hilarious and sad at the same time. It just shows how screwed up their upbringing is when they need to feel special even in games.

It's good he's selling it, the only thing I'm buying this week is heavy ammo synthesis. I wish he would have sold the Ram, but the rolls on the helmets are very, very, good.

Now there should be no excuse to not include them in end game activities. Also everyone can feel the true power of jellyhorn before the great nerfage.

I'm sitting here laughing. I got my first one last night from ir yut while carrying my friend through crota. Guy on my fire team was like -blam!- I still don't have one either. I was all its OK bro xur will sell one tomorrow. I checked the destiny app after I clocked in at work..... Xur with ghorn... I called that sh!t. Glad people can finally add another weapon to their collections

I think it's great. I have two friends who for the last year haven't been able to get it to drop for them. I'll get Gally, and they'll get hawkmoon (which I haven't been able to get yet). Happened so many times it's become a thing with us. I'm glad they'll be able to get it (later today, we all work) and experience it before the nerf. Since we run together, whatever benefits them benefits me as well.

I think that everybody in the game should be able to experience the Gjally... If but for a few weeks before the nerf... However, buying it from Xür is nowhere near as satisfying as having it drop from an in game activity... I remember I got my first one on my Xbox One after a thousand hours from Crota's End at Crota... I didn't even know I had it until we returned to orbit! I was dancing round my dining room at 4am with sheer elation! It was a great feeling, one that people who buy it from Xür will now never get to experience

It seems like the people who don't have it are happy and the people that do have it don't care because they've already gotten multiple drops. Me and a friend of mine have been playing since the first week and we have about the same amount of hours. He has gotten -blam!-ing 6 of them and I have gotten none. Finally I can use this weapon. Better late than never.

I think it takes away the rarity. It was pure joy when I saw it drop for me back in February, but atleast people get to see the beast that it is before the nerf. Happy gaming guardians!!

I think its great that everyone can get it now especially since its going to be nerfed, at least everyone gets to apreciate the full glory for a month or so
