Year 1 Players: what would make you happy?
Serious question. As a year one player what would make you happy as we approach year two?
This is what I would like: Etheric Light 2.0. The ability to upgrade 5 year one weapons to year two levels. I'd be happy about that. The ability to take my beloved Vision of Confluence with me for year two.
What about you?
Edit 1: a lot of salty guardians from Smiths interview. Since there are numerous posts about that already why don't we use this post for creative ideas to keep us interested in the Destiny universe. Thanks!

I've been playing since Christmas (37 year old man). I would like to see the following. 1. Private servers 2. Rental servers 3. More vault space 4. Figure out how to fix latency problems in multiplayer. 5. Add a few more bounties to the bounty list. 6. Add a new vendor to the list either for the reef or TTK That's all I got for now

Where we found relics and crafted Arcus Regime, where We fought with Kabr and got to watch him sacrifice himself against Atheon. The one where factions were a big deal and had unique aspects To them, ships were customizable, the crow, and more. That's what I want

3 отв.After reading the forums, I know what would make year one players happy: Everything free. Everything. Everyone knows developers at Bungie don't get paid to work, is why should loyal gamers have to buy DLC? No discounts for new players. Seriously. Bungie should raise the price of the base game to $120. Micro transactions. I know this conflicts with number one, but what the hell? This is Bungie forums. Logic is out the window. We want the ability to buy noob exotic class items individually. Also, add micro transactions where you can pay $5 to make someone on the other team be banned from using Thorn. $55 for the whole team.

5 отв.Change the legendary armor/weapon leveling up system. Make tower gear start at 24 light level (like when the game first came out) and 27 light level (for a little more marks), but 36 light when fully leveled up. The weapons at 272 atk (or whatever the start value was), and 300 atk for more marks, but both end at 331 atk when leveled up. Armor/weapons from engrams/drops start at 33 light and 331 atk though. Add a few more leveling up nodes on gear with lower values, but decrease xp and material needed per node. This is gear can still make leveling up relevant without immediately making new gear outdate old gear, and so new people can have a little bit of an understanding of what it was like for day 1 players. Rotate vendor inventory from time to time. Reroll armor stats. I want to choose where I spawn in for patrol. Rocket launchers with proximity detonation (Gjallarhorn) to not detonate within a lethal radius of where I shot (darn thrall behind/below me getting me killed). Make matchmaking optional for all PvE activities with matchmaking in it, and add matchmaking for the daily. More vault space. An [u]optional[/u] PvP option in patrol. If a friend is in an activity, lets us see which friend(s) is/are in that activity. A checklist/wishlist system in a roster to see which friends still want to do a certain activity so I know who to invite/message effectively before turning to the forums. A left handed option. New difficulties for existing raids. I want to [u]buy[/u] a physical collector's edition of The Taken King [u]without[/u] DLC [u][b]I already bought[/b][/u].[spoiler]-blam!- you Activision! Please fight Activision on this decision Bungie, we are -blam!-ing pissed Bungie and you will continue to be blamed for their actions if no resolution is seen by us.[/spoiler]
