I just finished my first raid and OMG
The hype is real man. My first raid and it was crota too. I wasn't carried and I did help a little cause I'm lv 30, but only after like 20 wipes we killed crota and I got the fusion rifle. I just wanna say thanks to all my friends who took me through the raid even though they wouldn't get any rewards. And that last lfg guy we found for being patient with me.
Edit 1: lol I didn't expect to trend, why is vault of glass more fun?
Edit 2: forgot to mention I got the deathsingers grip
Update: ran crota of an lfg group and for the boots and sword breaker

If you think crotas end was good you have to try vault of glass, if your on ps4 and need help I'll be done, most of my fellow raiders are gone till house of wolves but I'm sure we can find more willing to help. Vault of glass is an awesome raid

25 отв.I have raided once, VoG, and it did not go well. I'm an old guy (relatively speaking in the world of [video] gamers) and lack friends that play. Jumped on the recruitment board for a group looking for another to fill out their VoG run on normal. Was up front on my experience. They invited me in, and it was not enjoyable. Lets just say for starters the maturity level wasn't what I hoped for. Second, they weren't interested in really helping me much. One guy tried, but, well... Anyway, at some point I hope to raid again. But for me, doing the raid itself is only part of what I seek, it's more finding some similar players with whom to enjoy the game. Fourlakes

Vault of Glass is more fun because it's longer, requires more teamwork and everyone works together to kill the bosses. In Crota's End you can solo everything yourself, and little teamwork is necessary, especially the Abyss, where it's pretty much every man for himself. Plus, it took the first raid team 16 hours to complete VoG and maybe 4... 5 hours for the first raid team to complete Crota's End, which shows how much more challenging the Vault was. That, and the Vault's hard mode doesn't put the enemies at impossible to reach levels to make it hard.

Very cool! Just did my finished my first Crota raid 2 weeks ago. Same results. Fusion rifle. Never ran vault of glass yet.

I got lost in VOG - it felt like an adventure I ran through crota and beat all the timers! yeah!... congrats though! hope you enjoy the rest of your play.

1 ответI still remember shutting off my Xbox with a huge smile & a fading adrenaline rush after running thru the entire VoG for the first time. I couldn't believe how it just kept going & going & going.. I still think it's the coolest thing iv ever done in a video game.. CE is fun the first few times but it really pales in comparison to the VoG. Iv never done anything that required such tight teamwork & communication. I can only hope The Arena lives up to its expectations..

I'm glad they were patient with you. It's good to hear that there are still some decent people out there on LFG. Crota I suppose it the better raid to start out with because it is a lot easier. However, as a lot of others are apparently saying, give VoG a try. It can be much more challenging, but ultimately more fun. It requires more of an all-around team effort whereas Crota does not. In my opinion, it takes a lot more skill and there are more opportunities for you to play an "important role" i.e. be a relic holder.

I honestly like both, but there is something fun about VOG that I can't really explain....maybe because it runs differently from strikes, while Crota's end runs like a really hard strike? Idk. Cheers to your first raid.

:s I thought my first raid was boring. It was 4 manned and didnt seem hard except for coordinating when to shoot rockets on crota guess I was carried idk but it just all seems badly designed if you can 3 man a raid while carrying a 4th. Maybe cause it was Crota and everyone says crota sucks. Idk coulda been cooler like no window ledge where adds dont chase you or have crota actually do shit instead of adds. Like jumping sword stabs of doom to dodge by jumping from platform to platform while also dodging energy waves and no safe rooms.

Congrats! It's a great feeling! Keep doing it. Get to know the raid, and start doing hard mode. Tons of fun. VoG is fun. I'm not going to say more fun, it's just a completely different kind of raid. Grats, again!
