So, I was pondering on late game destiny. All players want raid gear. In the end, most players all look the same. All Titans are covered in the Crotas end gear, all hunters are uniformly Frabjous, and there is no real diversity in looks. So, I may have a solution. If anyone here is familiar with the game Terraria, it allows players to equip vanity items that simply affect player appearance, not stats. If bungie were to add vanity slots, players could equip armor pieces that they think would look best while keeping the stats of end game raid armor by keeping it equipped in their normal armor slots. An example would be like this. I personally think the Vanir Titan armor looks amazing, and I would love for my Titan to look like that daily. Unfortunately, it's all just blue armor so using it would ruin my Titan. Having vanity slots would allow me to wear the armor and look cool, while retaining the stats of end game armor without losing light level. That's the idea. Hopefully someone at bungie thinks this is cool, because I find it to be a great idea.
