Christ. This week's (I don't even want to consider this a hotfix) "hotfix" was two....TWO fixes to the CE raid. Nothing else.
Players have made countless threads on bugs that have existed ingame since the damn launch.
This is going to happen AGAIN with HoW. You're going to release the raid that can be entirely "cheesed" AGAIN. You're going to sit there and spend all of your time trying to fix something that apparently you guys can't even make halfway right in the first place.
There are far more things to this game than the raids and nerfing guns in PVP. Start fixing THOSE things first.
The entire raid can still "cheesed" after the first CE patch AND the most recent patch. Give. Up. Move on and start working on other things that affect the rest of the game.
This is showing a lack of respect towards players. Countless threads with thousands of replies and up votes and it's not even acknowledged. When are you going to start listening and make the game better for EVERYONE, not just those who raid.
This is so ridiculous. When are you all going to get your heads out of your asses.
Let me guess, next week's "hotfix" is going to be MORE patches for the raid only and other problems in the game are going to continue to be ignored.
Edit: most people wouldn't even cheese or try to find exploits or your poorly designed game if the RNG wasn't so ridiculous. There's no need for a massive buff in drops, but this is the exact reason why people choose to take that path. We spend enough time playing hundreds of hours trying to get a few things we want, but the game continues to hold them out against us.
So here's another edit since some people seem to be taking this the wrong way:
I do not mind that they're trying to fix the exploits. I could 10,000% care less. The objective of this thread was to try and get them to stop focusing so much on their raids, that people will CONTINUE to find ways to exploit. It's almost as if they're trying to have a war with the playerbase.
I want to see them actually make useful hotfixes for ALL the players. The last hotfix I've seen like that, that truly helped, was when they fixed decoding of engrams. After that, damn near everything has been useless.
I want to see the game get better overall. Not just one aspect of the game. They spend so much time trying to fix exploits of the raids they release, rather than paying any attention to the other things at hand.

1 RespuestaYa the glitches that still remain in Crota are ridiculous. The one that pissed me off the most is the sword disappearing or Crota going down for .1 millisecond then getting back up
-
3 RespuestasYou should really say "I couldn't care less". Your phrasing creates the implication that you do actually care if they fix the exploits.
-
8 RespuestasYou made some good points but the rng isn't even that bad. Your words lost all value after that.

2 RespuestasEditado por Doubletap68: 1/21/2015 8:30:53 PMShhh, don't interrupt their Pentathalon. They may also be on vacation again, to recover from their last vacation. They continually make it obvious, in the snarkiest and most arrogant way they can, that they don't give a damn about the people who bought their game. For a year, they showed us features and told us the game would launch with those features. "All this is playable space" springs to mind as an example. They then systematically removed many of those features, and neglected to mention it as they got closer to launch. Misleading? Certainly. Unethical? I believe so. Legal? Undoubtedly, because I'm sure every video and event and promo they showed had a disclaimer. They have great sales numbers, and have no doubt gotten their margins in the black. That's what their publisher cares about, and Bungie appears to have ruthlessly adopted that ethic.

10 RespuestasYou mad you can't cheese?
-
8 RespuestasSo.. you don't want them to fix shit? That's all I could get from this mountain of bullshit.
-
3 RespuestasStep 1: Play with Randoms and you better not ask about Matchmaking because that would ruin the game if anyone had the option (not mandatory) to use that Step 2: Play the game the way that Bungie wants you to play it (long and drawn out) Step 3: Get garbage OR: Cheese it, still get garbage, and save yourself many hours of frustration just to enrage when you get said garbage. I'm taking option OR.

1 RespuestaMake a list of every bug that needs to be fixed that has been ignored. The forums will all upvote it and DeeJ will respond. The reason that the Hotfixes have been fixing the raid is because that is the "event" that the majority of the community is focused on. When Iron Banner was the event they fixed IB bugs. When the Queen had her event they fixed some errors as well.

Have a bump.
-
I agree with you

This is a good post with great points. Those who are getting their panties in a wad are not taking the time to read/comprehend what you are saying.

4 Respuestashere is a hint, you matter nothing to them and never did. Only your money ever did. You feelings about how they do their game do not nor or ever mean anything to them.

1 RespuestaEditado por Ukimoi: 1/21/2015 10:34:31 PMThey still haven't fixed shit in the VOG and heavy ammo glitch is still around, Bungie must have one whole guy working on fixes and bugs.
-
3 RespuestasMaybe now with hard mode out they can work on fixing VOG... I just made myself laugh, I should be a comedian or something.
-
Early access and so worth it ... DayZ and Rust had a baby!
-
they make hot fixes but they can't fix the lagging issue
-
someone wants to keep their cheese?
-
3 RespuestasI just want my booties to stop stealing my heavy ammo.
-
1 RespuestaNext hotfix is gonna be removing the health regeneration for red death and suros in crota.
-
-
I would suggest to bungie the thing in the Raids they actually need to fix are problems, not cheeses For example while fighting Crota the Sword bearer's sword will sometimes disappear before you can even get to it. (this is around 2 secs after killing him)
-
Bruh, u mad bruh
-
Agreed!
-
I agree that people cheese due to RNG. If there were other ways to get stuff, or if the stuff gave consistent rewards cheesing would go down a lot. And when bugs ruin a raid run I often feel cheated out of a victory. After that I have no problem cheesing the game. The game cheats me, so I cheat it first. If the game wasn't cheating I would be much less inclined to cheese things.
-
Tell em' bruh! Let em' know less than 5% of players will even attempt the Hard Raid.
-
Im mad cause I cant cheese anymore. If people.played the raid with the mechanics intended then they wouldnt have to hotfix the cheese and could fix the raid
