So I came up with an idea today grinding that could have some serious potential. Faction Wars! This would be a crucible event similar to the Iron Banner. Just like in the Iron Banner weapon and armor stats would be relevant but the match making system would just group you in whatever faction you CHOOSE to represent. At the end of the Faction Wars what ever faction won the War, the players that side with said faction would get a prize at the post office. That faction could even get reduced pricing in the tower for a determined amount of time on purchases through the various vendors. Think about it! A Destiny faction war started off by some outside force attacking the tower, and in the vacuum of the chaos the factions all start fighting for control over the tower! The player would just have to choose what faction to side with during the War(s) and the equip the class mod and emblem for that particular faction. Then represent in the crucible! What does the Destiny community think about this idea? Bungie what do you think? It would make choosing a faction more relevant then just getting the gear the factions sale and it would drive the interconnectivity of the community at large. Hell let's go crazy and make faction specific exotics to that can only be earned through the Faction Wars!
