I'm not sure adding abilities to weapons would help, as it would end up with everyone with the same weapons with the same mods, which is something Bungie won't want. However the crafting thing is a great idea. I like this one. If Bungie could read this thread, take in the black things and crafting and make them work together, that could be brilliant.
