We who suck at Crucible
Let's share our stories about our suckage.
My first Crucible experience:
- Rumble, Moon
- What's this map? Why can't we practice among ourselves against CPU in these maps?
- Where did that shot come from?
- I have no idea where to go
- Is this my fifth death in one minute?
- Crap, I missed. Won't change my controller sensitivity (1) though
- I CAN'T EVEN SEE ANYONE
- That's it, quitting forever. Screw the exotic bounty
My second Crucible experience:
- Rumble, Earth
- Ooooh, I stabbed someone!
- Ooooh, got shotgunned! And sniped! And punched! Must be at least 4 deaths in a row without a kill
- This map is really confusing, the enemies can come from anywhere
- I'M NOT CHANGING MY PISTOL
- Well OK, I'll try Fusion Rifle, got one equipped
- I CAN'T HIT A SINGLE THING
- Quit forever
My third Crucible experience:
- Control, Earth
- Oooh, I got buddies this time!
- Where did they all go?
- I still can't fathom this map.
- There's my buddy! OH WAI-
- I'm getting that flag. No enemies nearOH WAIT
- WHY CAN'T WE LEARN THESE MAPS IN SINGLEPLAYER BEFORE COMING HERE TO HUMILIATE OURSELVES
- MY WEAPONS SUCK
- NO I SUCK
- WHY DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE SUCK
- Hehee, nevermind, got one. I think he/she was AFK though. But at least I got one!
- This isn't so bad. Just be patient and thWHERE THE HELL DID THAT SHOT COME FROM
- I'M DONE. QUITTING FOREVER.
So I quit Crucible forever and left it for the players who know what they're doing. How was your day?

Sounds like me, lol. My first time was horrible. I think I was on Venus, can't remember because I totally want to forget it. I ran in circles, couldn't see anyone and got killed all the time - some one was always behind my back. Lost my patience and cursed out loud. And snapped to my room mate :D But well, I suck all the time in any FPS game.. Still play them.

2 RespuestasEditado por IamNotThreat: 10/9/2014 7:57:08 AMI suck at it..people that are good are just good..there better..it is what it is..the trick for me is not sweating the k/d to the point it ruins the pvp experience for me..I do it cause its part of the game and gives me a break from some of the predictable pve..and as far as the bountys..some even I can do..like cap 10xs..btw make yourself feel a little better check out my k/d..I honestly havnt looked at it but after match its usually .23ish..now pick up that gun an stop being a puss!

1 RespuestaI'm getting better as now more of the matches I have a 1.0 or more but I still have a stinker now and then. The problem is I did so bad in the beginning my k/d is in a hole and I don't think I can climb out of it.

2 RespuestasThis is hilarious, and partly me. Granted, I've always suffered a fatal flaw, I obsess over objectives and refuse to use over powered weapons. The only time I win is when I play with my friends, and it has nothing to do with me being there. The only other obnoxious thing is the imbalance in weapons, not just the AR's being better than all of the other primaries, but some of the perks on legendaries and exotics are insane. Removing that would make me a decent player at best though, so I don't complain too much. I'll never be as competetive as I was in Halo 2/3. My glory days are behind me, and I'm ok with that. Now that I've made excuses, marvel at my regular .64 K/D, with occasional entries of .13! At least I make my friends laugh...

It's a slow tug, me and the g/f leveled mostly through it then went back to do the PvE content. We're both horrible but it pays ok anyhow, we mainly play control and have fun (except when it parachutes you in with 5 mins left 14000>3000 against you).

Tried pvp today for an exotic bounty after five matches I was so confused and dizzy I will have to wait. I could hear the other squad yelling Nooo he wasn't ready...

I do pvp way better outside of the iron banner. I've heard from badass players that the iron banner is completely broken. Maybe we get some news on this one soon!

Why do I need to use a crutch (read 'controller') to play an FPS?

I've done something like 13 matches in Crucible. For most of those I was paired up with members of my clan and they decided to go do Crucible. I don't enjoy it, never have enjoyed it, and likely never will enjoy it. With my experience so far in Crucible, I have so far abandoned 5 of the 6 exotic bounty quests I have gotten. I refuse to do any of them that require PvP, which means everything I have been given the options for except for the Exotic MG. Requiring PvP players to do PvE and PvE players to do PvP to complete the Bounties = a failed mechanic in my opinion.

Tbh it did suck in the beginning and I was pretty bad. Stuck it out and am doing much better thanks to map knowledge and shadow price. Just defend Bravo. They will come to you. Also pray your team doesnt flip the spawn.

1 RespuestaHeres a tip for getting your match over quickly, try and die a lot! The faster you die the more points the other team gets and the quicker you can start a new game. Kills mean nothing!

2 RespuestasHonestly, we people who got pretty good at crucible took a bit of time learning the maps. Just play to learn right now and you'll get better over time. also learn the heavy ammo drops and special ammo drop spots, it helps. Good luck.
