Publisher Electronic Arts is currently under investigation by law firm Holzer Holzer and Fistel, LLC for possibly misleading investors and analysts regarding the quality of Battlefield 4, which has been plagued with problems across all platforms since it launched in late October.
Holzer Holzer and Fistel is focusing its investigation on statements made between July 24, 2013 and December 4, 2013 regarding Battlefield 4's development, sales, and impact on EA's revenue and future projects. The Atlanta-based law firm is looking into whether EA violated federal securities laws during this time by making false statements about the game's status.
The firm encourages those who purchased EA common stock between July 24 and Dec. 4 or who suffered investment losses during this year contact Holzer Holzer and Fistel attorney Marshall P. Dees regarding legal rights in this case.

Rockstar release a broken, crappy game GTAO but when EA launches a bad game, they're investigated.

Editado por TheThunderDumpling: 12/15/2013 1:43:45 PMRockstar was up front and honest about the issues with GTAO, which is the only part of GTAV that had a problem. They told everyone it wasn't ready and took steps to make sure that they didn't take advantage of consumers by charging for DLC. In no way has Rockstar misled investors. EA, has told investors that they have a great game with no problems and are on track to release paid DLC, when the game has so many bugs that other EA projects need to be put on hold to make up for these issues. That is misleading investors. Your personal distaste for GTAO has nothing to do with what investors care about.

1 Respuesta
Rockstar release a broken, crappy game GTAO but when EA launches a bad game, they're investigated.
Only investigated by a law firm that is attempting to profit of settlements and litigation of disgruntled investors. There is no other motivation there, and the law firm is not doing it because of any consumer demand or worries. I guarantee Take Two probably didn't have any mad investors from GTA V regardless of the GTO launch.

1 RespuestaBF4's issues look small minor next to the steaming pile of turd that is GTAO

I have problems in the actual game that I never experienced in the open beta/demo

I wonder how long it will be for a similar investigation for Ghosts.

3 Respuestas
Rockstar release a broken, crappy game GTAO but when EA launches a bad game, they're investigated.
But you see, Battlefield 4 has been available since October and the game is still unstable. They've already released $15 expansions when the game isn't even fixed. Rockstar on the other hand was dealing with 20+ million people slamming their servers at once and addressed the bullshit much faster than EA.

Editado por Mr Coco: 12/14/2013 9:34:51 PM-Mass Effect 3 hypes up a conclusion that didn't happen, and everyone who complains is being spoiled. -Halo 4 had practically the exact same gameplay and DLC bugs, and everyone is being impatient. -Battlefield 4 has server issues and glitches, so it lied to its consumers. Yup. Makes perfect sense.
-
16 RespuestasEA should release a free DLC like Rockstar.
-
Heh... Fistel
-
Uh oh...EA's grounded for sneaking video games
-
The difference between R* and EA is that R* worked to fix it and didn't release any paid DLC, whereas EA misled investors and released paid DLC for a broken game.
-
Sucks for them - knew they should have delayed the game
-
10 RespuestasLol. *crosses fingers* Please sue EA, please sue EA, please sue EA...
-
It's not like GTA:O has been fixed though and is only the multiplayer part of the game meanwhile Battlefield 4 is broken in general.
-
When do I get my money back?
-
That's good that a law group is going after EA they need to be taught a lesson for rushing DICE and all of their other developers and I bet EA is 100 percent responsible for BF4's crap launch
Rockstar release a broken, crappy game GTAO but when EA launches a bad game, they're investigated.
You're missing the point. They're being investigated for misleading the investors.
-
2 RespuestasIt has to do with ea bragging about having a perfect game. Then releasing dlc for it.
-
