Destiny for PC?
I have a console, I'm not likely to get a new one till big price drop. And most of the people I game with are on the PC. And the fact I can Pre-order Destiny for everything BUT the PC has me worried. There IS a pc market for it and I'm hoping this poll will make it clear to Bungie.

If Destiny doesn't launch with a PC version, count on being left out of it for 10 years because why would they give a head start to consoles? (rhetorical quesiton). With that said, I hope Bungie laughs every time someone posts a thread like this, simply because of the third selection in the poll above. edit - I'm all about everyone being able to play every game on whatever platform, but when PC gamers claim the master race title, I find it unnecessarily arrogant no matter the context and I find myself offended. No need to argue, that's just how it is. Gonzo out.

I think it should be on PC more then X360 and PS3. Next-gen consoles and PC's only imo. This games full potential will not be reached on current gen consoles.

What i see is happening is that they are going to release Destiny few months later after console versions come out, witch is fine. I personally don't see any reason it should not be on pc, and people who say it will be hard to port it are full of it. All games mostly build on pc, and there will be few problems here and there but nothing that we cant fix. As for my self i`m a hardcore PC games, i don't really play consoles but i have a strong feeling i`m going to buy PS4. I am still hopping see Destiny on PC but its not for us to decide if it will be on PC. Lets just hope for the best and wait for more news from Bungie and Activision. Ohh and guys no need for Console vs Pc war, we all gamers at the end, no need to argue, lets all be one huge family. =) -DrForkInTheLung

A game like Destiny should for sure be on PC as well, for real competive gamers PC has always been the best choise as a keyboard mouse combo eats console controllers for breakfast any day. I own PS2 and 3, and a PC gaming rig - and for FPS like this there is hands down a better experience on a pc. You can play 200 hours on console and still not be satisfied with the controlls, since you just cant be as fast and accurate as the mouse/keyboard combo lets you be. It is however truly weird that neither PS4 or Xbox1 is coming with Mouse/keyboard announcements as optional controllers supported by most games.. as people already for PS3 and Xbox360 is using hacks allowing them to use these controllers.. and They truly beat their fellow players with ease. Well, sorry for getting half off topic there.. I surely vote for Destiny on PC, and would surely buy it there. For the Console it would just be another FPS to annoy me with console controllers.

I would love to see it on PC. The new consoles are underwhelming at best and I'm investing in a PC for gaming and work (coding/rendering). I've loved Bungie's games for years and would love to see them put this amazing looking game onto the PC

I like the control, precise movements and accuracy I get with a keyboard and a mouse. FYI - The PS4 is running an ATI vid card and ATI processor. Xbox has Windows architecture - I'm betting it would be quite a bit easier than we think to port it to PC.

Because I really don't think they're going to port it for PC, and wouldn't we all have a console anyway if we liked Bungie and their current games? 100 people does not count as a market for Bungie. 500 people does not count as a market for Bungie. 1000 people does not count as a market for Bungie. Neither 500 nor 1000 people have demanded Destiny be on PC, and there is no real accurate way to have a digital petition. It's also a bit trollish. If Destiny comes out on PC because of the "kids in the backseat", all those that demanded it will just walk away anyway, saying they had their eye on another PC game and will go play that and maybe come back later (like a console, except they demanded something that wasn't going to happen).

The Xbone runs Windows NT with Windows 8 kernel, is on x86 architecture, and is using a modified richland APU It should be as hard as remapping the controls

I have a feeling that sometime after Destiny's release on console it will find it's way to the PC. Bungie is probably trying to not spread themselves too thin development wise at the moment.

So to my knowledge, multiple Bungie employees have been stating that the would like it to be released on the PC. I know its already being developed for four consoles, but I personally believe that the PC gaming market will justify them to develop and release it for the PC. I really hope they do, because it will not only make them a boatload more money, but increase their player base to ridiculous numbers. If Bungie really wants this to be the next big thing, they will release it on PC.
