There are constant post talking about how poor the current state of the game is, saying that we need a Destiny Classic or Destiny 3, I agree with all of that but there is one thing all of us should be much madder about.
I want to see all past and current members of the Destiny 2 community create an outcry to be refunded for the content we paid hundreds of dollars for, just for it to be vaulted and unable to be accessed.
No company should ever get away with removing paid content permanently under any scenario and we as the consumers have to make an outcry about it. that's really all, death to capitalism and whatnot.

You agreed to their TOS upon playing, they can do whatever they want with their content. If it means remove 99% they can do it unfortunately.

We have no legal right to a refund as we all agreed that bungie reserve the right to withdraw access to content. And unfortunately we can't even have access to the files for preservation sake. The law around digital content needs changing to protect consumers better. Plus doubt bungie would have the money to refund everyone.

Terms of Service, which we all agreed to.

Editado por Meat Fountain: 3/26/2026 12:53:52 AMWhat's your legal basis? You know (or you should know, anyway) that live service games aren't eternal. One day, all that content that you paid for will be permanently inaccessible. This is what you agree to when you sign up. It's why I've never bought anything with silver and only bought content when it was heavily discounted.

I agree that the content should never have been vaulted. I think Destiny 2 should’ve been left intact as it was at the time (inc Red War) and Destiny 3 released, starting at Beyond Light. As far as a refund is concerned, there’s no legal basis for it due to the terms we agreed to by playing the game.

That’s how every always online game works.
