Pvp is Busted. Where are we now with Bungie!
Firstly, it's not SBMM when the opposite team is up 13 to 64 and the game of control just started. So players on my team back out immediately.
CBMM needs an immediate return for all Playlist with huge adjustments to the match making pool.
Cheaters are everywhere and it's easy to tell.
Netcode and latency problems. Please look into this problem. Ghosts bullets aka bloom(remove it). SBMM does not prioritize connection. It prioritizes the least favorable connection in the lobby. Therefore the lag player or players dominate the match. The cheaters know this and this needs to be addressed.
Old pvp maps from D1, bring them back. The community asked many times.
Pvp strike team. Missing in action. Why? Explain bungie.
New maps
New weapons with better designs
This is why I cannot trust marathon as a pvp extraction game. Just look at D2 pvp.

Any form of SBMM that they have gets dropped after it searches for a while then expands the skill range to finish filling the lobby. So you end up with the worst of both matchmaking algorithms, bad connection and wide skill ranges. CBMM should be the only focus on matchmaking with such a low player population, and combine PC/console lobbies.

1 RespuestaI've had enough with getting put into matches that already started and the score is 6-52 and I'm getting thundercrashed before I even get control of my character. Then continual supers upon further spawning and I can't stay alive along enough to orbit. If a game is this unbalanced, then just mercy it. Quit grabbing new players. I mean I'm going to have to switch to invis hunter just so I can orbit.

1 RespuestaLobby balancing ruins pretty much both CBMM or SBMM. Their Temu SBMM dosent work at all with “outlier protection” Matches are always blowouts, either mercy or be mercied :(

Hey come on... Bungie has to completely destroy D2 pvp and Gambit so they can convince you to buy their NEW PvPvE game!! BONUS: Marathon will have Battleye anti-cheat!!

But I agree SBMM needs to go, I had a similar game where within 1 minute score was like 13-64 and people just kept backing up. I barely have any close games these days…either stomp or get stomped on. I just can’t see when PvP will get love in this game. If it even will ever again.

4 RespuestasAs a big fan of CBMM it would make things worse in PvP due to the low population count. You would be in matches with players further away from you resulting in more lag.
