Bug: At close range, powered melee attacks turn into unpowered melee attacks.
Was just trying Mataiodoxia and any time an enemy was less than five paces from me I couldn't use my powered melee ability, I'd just slap them in the face.
Bungie, please fix this, a lot of Exotics depend on powered melee kills to trigger.

Its happened to me a few times where i can't use my charged melee for literally no reason. I have auto melee turned off, with charged melee tied to R3 and Basic melee RB. i very clearly have a charge, but when I'd try to melee, the icon would flash red as if i didn't have it charged. So far its happened to me with strand titan melee, thunderclap, and pocket singularity.

This is a key binding issue you can resolve in controller settings.

2 RespuestasThis is intentional. In the settings there is Charged Melee, Uncharged Melee and an Auto Melee(as in it will try to decide which melee depending on distance). If you're on pc this is easy to bind how you want. Console I am unfortunately unsure what to adjust(I cant see the binds for controller without plugging one in). Take a look at these settings.

Many, many, manymanymany, times I've screamed at my television, "Throw the damn knife/smoke bomb/shuriken!!!!!" because my Hunter would lunge in and do a stupid little stab, even from a significant distance. It's infuriating.
