Ffs bungie fix your piece of -blam!- activities. We should not be getting INSTAKILLED by everything under the sun and then get hit with a misadventure notification. It’s gotten to the point now where you can have multiple sources of DR, be blocking with a sword or in a super, and a singular trip mine will one shot you. Or an even worse example, I have now been killed on several occasions in The Whisper by literally doing what you are required to and breaking the blights. The explosion of a blight popping can kill you now. What is this, some kind of joke? I unironically had more fun solo grinding GM’s for loot for hours on end during TFS and prior, than doing a single portal activity in this hospital bed pan level of a mess. It’s not punishing difficulty. It’s just a complete lack of attention or care into the activities. This is just sad, yall deserve everything you’ve got coming when this is the kind of “content” you’re pushing out. The complete super spam noskill -blam!- fest that is invasion is more fun than any portal activity in the entire game. Fix them, now, they should’ve been fixed months ago. It’s obvious that D2 is just being held on life support while they work on something else in the background and the ship slowly sinks. Fix the balance or remove the system. “Misadventure” should not be the #1 most common death screen in the entire game from things that were in no way, shape, or form a self kill death.
