Hi, I’ve really enjoyed buying and listening to all of the Destiny soundtracks over the years, but the last 2 soundtrack releases on the Bungie Store have changed their formats to something more awkward than what was used before. The soundtracks for the Edge of Fate and Legacy of the Past have both been delivered in [i].wav[/i] files, whereas everything up to the Final Shape came as [i].m4a[/i] and [i].flac[/i] files — .wav files can’t carry the metadata like album artwork, composers, track and disc details etc. so when I add the tracks to something like iTunes lots of music info is missing. Although it’s possible to convert the files over and add the information manually, it was very painful doing it for the dozens of songs across EoF and LotP. Could we go back to the old file formats for future soundtrack releases please? Thanks! 🎶
