I got no plans to "retire". I'll play til the servers go down. What's it going to cost me? What surprises me is not that there are people quitting but how many people are still here after all this time. Despite all the hate they get Bungie must be doing something right. Let's not categorize op as another casualty of EoF though. Barring multiple accounts, except for one day in May, he actually quit playing last March. And he mained pvp and Gambit. That could burn anyone out. That doesn't detract from his sincere feelings or diminish my respect for them. But it does skew the narrative just a bit. A while ago I realized that if I wanted to continue to love Destiny I couldn't just relax and continue to let Bungie drive. I was going to have to grab the wheel and steer my own gaming experience. It wasn't a pleasant realization but I've never found another game that scratches the itch like Destiny. So good luck and god speed to op. If you want to crew up on the bilge pumps let me know and we can sail into the sunset, lobbing grenades and killing aliens the whole way.
