I agree that the game is in a bad state. That said, I laughed when you called them “arrogant”. To me, it seems arrogant to demand a studio changes its game to suit your personal wants and needs. I know you claimed [i]everyone[/i] hates it, but that is a silly and impossible claim to make. I think my neighbor’s diarrhea colored house is -blam!-, and ‘everyone’ in the neighborhood probably hates it. But I’m not about to walk over and demand he repaints it.

It's insane to me that Bungie have not addressed Fireteam Ops at all. Why would anyone choose to run these FOps activities at -40 [i]with multiple negative modifiers[/i] when they can go to K1, set the card at an A and be over-levelled [u]yes zero delta[/u], easily score an A+ and get better rewards. Oh and you can run it in 3 to 4 minutes.

Variety was the draw to the game. I could play seasonal stuff, then PvP, then patrols and get equally rewarded. I could play on EDZ for bounties and then vanguard for bounties and get rewards. Challenges could be had playing GM or Raids. There was always a sense of community where most locations had other players. Now you have locked content, inconsistency in challenges, convoluted reward systems, focus on solo activities, and an active attempt to remove variety and uniqueness from the game. Not to mention catering to the tiny fraction that plays these raid events. Frankly not many will remain if a Bungie as a company fails to see this failure for what it is.

Just walk away. This is just pointless self destruction. They do not care. They turned the game into what it is now on purpose. It's all about Raids and Dungeons now. if you are not on board with their vision they do not care. It is an utter waste of time complaining. They are not listening, they never have, and never will. They will now put the bare minimum in to try and keep what little players they have left with a "roadmap" that will be the usual festival of low effort mediocrity that we have come to expect from a company whose employee's would miss the floor if they threw themselves at it. Ask yourself .. Why is it that Eververse is chocked full of overpriced tat while they expect you to grind power as a past time by playing activities that are years old ?? .. It's so they can continue to maximise profits with minimum effort. You don't matter to them. You never will. It's been ten years and they are still incompetent. My mate bought Final Shape, cant finish it though as there is no longer any matchmaking for Excision. It's the Grandmaster version only outside of trying to get 12 people to do it on what they laughingly call a Fireteam Finder. He asked me why there was no matchmaking for all campaign missions, surely a must for a so called social game and a way for new players like him to meet other new players, or why Excision is not in the Portal so people can actually finish the finale of a so called ten year saga ??, why are people forced to play what Bungie want, the way that Bungie want ?? The answer is, that's just how Bungie operates. And always will. They will see a common sense approach and a good idea and then jog on and do the exact opposite. I'm enjoying other games. So is my mate, he has given up on the game. This game is losing players, old and new, and is no longer worth anyone's time. It's just a tedious power grind that fuels an overpriced shop.

So much this. While I thoroughly enjoy doing grandmasters, and had the conqueror title going for like 12 seasons, I DO NOT want to ONLY do grandmasters for weeks and weeks on end to level up my power. Bungie, how -blam!- stupid can you be??

Just wait until power level resets to "200". I bet players will leave in droves. I'll be at the front of that line if so. They won't get this grind out of me ever again.

Stop playing and delete the game. The only language that Bungie understands is money. Stop supporting them and get any friends that you have to do the same. Until Bungie exceeds expectations again for a couple of dlc releases, I’m staying away. Also, why the f, would I want to start over with a level 10 Warlock when I’ve played since D1? I’m not playing this grind BS. Bungie doesn’t value the community or our time.

Don't chase the numbers; they reset to 200 in two months anyway. Spend any time in the game doing the things you find fun instead.

Has anyone here ever considered that maybe this IS part of Bungie's marketing strategy? All the controversy seems manufactured. The obvious bad decisions all seem manufactured. Just saying.

My best tip for you,just let the streamers and addicts keep this broken game,it`s only those people left playing. Imagine to waste time on a game with no soul or purpose,power means nothing,90 % of the content in the game is sunset, portal is a lazy mobile solution. And people are hyped for renegades,they will be at the same place they are now after renegades release,disappointed. how come? becus all bungie do is spread false information when they show us trailers.
