At this point, it should be obvious, guys. The reason why Destiny 2 sucks is because Bungie is putting all their resources — including part of the Destiny 2 team — into crunch mode to launch Marathon next year, but we all known it's gonna be DOA.

Just cut the foot off already! They must really mean it when they say the target audience isn't Destiny players, because holy smokes.... I cant envision a world where i give Bungie more of my money with how they are treating me(us) right now. They have not been transparent about a single thing this last year. I am almost to the point of saying they are blatantly lying about what they are selling(yes, I consider it selling) us. They call this a "major update" and very little was added to the game. What was added is half baked(re-skins really?) And broke more than it fixed. But, it's ok because it's a free update. Saying that like the millions of people who bought the expansion didn’t pay for it. They did. This isn't a free update. Anybody who has spent any money on this game payed for it. Period. I expect better quality for my investment frankly. I hate complaining, honestly. But... this last year has made me pretty salty. The thing is, we know Bungie can release a good product. We've seen it. But for whatever excuse they wanna come up with, delivering a quality product to their customer is not the priority. The priority seems to be mainly the Eververse. I also hate that cliché, but -blam!-, it's blatant. Just fix the game. Just make it work like you said it would. Just be transparent. These should be easy things. Sorry everyone, just want this game to be better.

Won't be touching it with a bargepole. Bungie are in panic mode and it tells.

For the record, I haven't watched the video and probably won't but my response to Marathon is simple: Sunken cost fallacy will sink Bungie. I am sure that the handful of players that aren't already married to Tarkov or Hunt:Showdown will appreciate a new hero based extraction shooter. That is of course if they aren't already turned away by the state of your current game, the repeated art theft, mediocre gameplay experience, and blocky "futuristic" graphics. Maybe there is a market for such a game, who knows? Alternatively, you could just focus on the one game keeping your entire company afloat while you work on a new game. (Not that I would buy anymore of their products at this point.) Or just bet your last dollar on the gamble.
