I didn't say anything bad about the Redrix, I called it a fine rifle, I was disappointed when I saw the range nerf, because I played with it, and I felt the damage fall-off, even before the nerf.
I am aware it is highly used, and abused, which is why it got nerfed.

My weekly drop got -20 to range. After the last nerf, the one before this latest one, it would drop with about a range of close to 60 (with ballistics), mine dropped at 40, which if I am not mistaken, translates to about 30 meters of in game range, give or take, so yeah, they annihilated the range. That's like taking the venom out of a viper, it's a belt now. But it is still a Redrix, I know that, and it retains it's qualities, it's just that, I believe it has been severely harmed, purely out of pleasing other players, who were/ are very upset with it, due to some players abusing it. I have taken up the Redrix against other players using it, it is as oppressive as many other weapons in the game, I am not entirely convinced it is called for, but maybe I am missing a point. There are other, more broken weapons, and abilities, that have not been touched for the sake of balance, I am not for nerfing by any means, it can take the fun out of a weapon.

Yes, yes it is. It's just that seeing -20 to range on my comp rifle drop this week, felt like a slap on the face, like they killed a perfectly good rifle, I mean what's the point, why not simply remove it from the game altogether? Overreacting on my part? Perhaps, but if you like rifles with some range, and precision, that are fast firing, and you enjoy that gameplay, it's kind of a let down.
