Preach. I don’t want help. I don’t want a clan. I want to play the game alone because that’s the most fun for me. The end.

You can. But there will be things you CANT get. You need to be okay with that.
-
It's a PvE, MMO style cooperative game. Play what you can solo like the rest of us and then get over it when you can't. It's not f***ing fallout or CoD campaign. It's not a solo based game. It's meant for cooperative content. Solo play SHOULDN'T be catered to. It goes against the point of the game
-
Nothing MMO in destiny and multiplayer cooperative games other than destiny allow you to run things solo. A good cooperative content encourages teamwork, not enforce it
-
Good cooperative DOES force and require it. The fact that there's already so much content that CAN be soloed is part of the problem. It makes doing certain content too easy with a team. Look at the mechanics, so many of them are so basic and boring and teach nothing. Making mechanics REQUIRE multiple people and communication is much needed in this game. Some of you want this stuff to be made more solo friendly. Many of us want the game to be less solo friendly. It's really 50/50 on that. But at the end of the day, it's a multiplayer PvE game. It's not a solo campaign. It's finally going in the right direction
-
And you can :) But you want those really really good rewards you’re gonna have to do the “multiplayer” part of the aspect from time to time to get the really good rewards:)
Preach. I don’t want help. I don’t want a clan. I want to play the game alone because that’s the most fun for me. The end.
Nobody says you can’t But your decisions have consequences that bungie and the rest of us aren’t responsible for.
-
If that is your choice, then that's fine. What I don't get is that you know this is built around the premises of doing things with a team. You choose solo but want Bungie to bend over backwards for the few like you who don't like teams. If you purposefully block yourself from teaming up, then you cannot do all the game has to offer, simple as that.
-
I don't think providing a solo alternative is "bending over backward"
-
They have a solo alternative, AFTER you do it once with a Buddy/FTF
-
If dual destiny was made to encourage teamwork with better efficiency or extra rewards, it would be more acceptable than being outright "find someone else or GTFO"
-
It's specifically designed to push Teamwork and has some of the best prismatic class item combos for a lot of builds. This idea that it's a "Team up or GTFO" mentality is yours alone, not reality.
-
Can you start without a second player? If not, how is that not a GTFO from the game?
-
The maybe a mmo isn't for you?
