PvP players seem to consistently hold the game back, how do you look at that and not think how much more fun the game is going to be? Get a grip. I hope bungie never caters to you ever again.

There’s a part of the community that’s perpetually miserable and it’s not just PVP players. The second the stream blew most players away they came out like roaches trying to spin and troll anyone who is excited. It’s not just D2 but all online communities that have a miserable and toxic segment that constantly has issues with everyone and everything. It’s as sad as it is hysterical how bothered they are about about a game.

This game would have died ages ago for me without PVP. Anyone can do PVE, PVP is where the real metal is tested and the game is sustained during content drought.

Editado por EgosRuin: 4/10/2024 4:32:12 PMAnd I am tired of PvE mains acting like the PvP is the reason why they are not OP in PvE or why PvE feels bad from time to time. Those "everytime they nerf PvE because of PvP"-phrases.. 🤮 It's like those people can't understand that most of this is just a decission made by bungie. PvP isn't "holding back" PvE, Bungie is. They want some type of balance in PvE like they want in PvP and yes, it destroys some type of feeling powerful in the game. But that's not because of PvP. Since idk 2 years (?) they seperate most changes between PvE and PvP. That ones that hit PvE AND PvP are meant to hit both because Bungie want to. It's the same bs like those people who act like bungie is secretly working with content creators together and they deliver content only for the top 0.1% player + that's why the game is in a bad state. 🤷♂️🤦♂️ You also act like only PvP players are afraid how maybe those changes will break PvP. Enough PvE player are afraid of too much blocked weapons etc. at the start because there are so many broke things like cascade point atm.. so pls stop acting like it's only pvp people. Btw. wishing other people the worst and hope things like their favourite part of the game should never get any attention is a very toxic behavior and it's very hypocritical from you.

2 RespuestasSince when does Bungie cater to pvp?
-
3 RespuestasOnly reason you ever got a sequel for Destiny is because of PvP 🤡
-
2 RespuestasAnd why shouldn’t they question how broken prismatic is going to be? Bungie have proven in the past that they’re willing to let the PvP experience suffer for months at a time before eventually nerfing the new shiny. They’re the only section of the player base negatively affected in relevant content, because any new PvE content will be balanced around this new level of strength. Not to mention the only time Bungie ever catered to the PvP crowd was the base release of D2, and that wasn’t even the Destiny PvP players. It was an attempt to break into the competitive scene.
-
Damn I must've missed the part where they ever started catering to PvP players lmao. The level of delusion employed just to be mad about things that aren't happening is WILD.

Red X means NO!

5 Respuestaswith the deep dive post we knowthat the only broken thing will be the lock

Editado por A_mo: 4/11/2024 12:31:11 PMIt might not be fun for a some pve players without 7 winter coats worth of dr. People have different definitions of miserable. Whining for 6 months about losing absurd DR is miserable.
-
1 RespuestaAt least hunters and titans can play it in endgame pve, warlocks will still be locked to well
-
3 RespuestasYou know damn well the PvP and certain PvE “Sweats” are going to cry their -blam!-e$ off for nerfs to these new toys because they are being killed by it or it may cost them a “raids first” or some other arbitrary “first” in this game. You know it’s coming. Once Bungie gets enough people to buy it and the numbers start to plateau then the nerfs will come for “balance” reasons or they “were shipped too spicy” or it was “an unintentional bug” making it too powerful and had to be “fixed”. You know, something along these B.S. lines.

had us in the first half of that title not gonna lie

Editado por shero4001: 4/11/2024 8:36:18 AMPVE or PVP it doesn't matter both sides are equal to blame for the state of the game as is. As is bungie itself for not testing thing rigorously enough before shipping them out so in conclusion everyone equal to blame not just one side or the other. So, unless we as a whole can come to a majority idea of what need to change why argue over it.
-
Bungie is giving us Marathon..PVP Only Game. Doubt it will be good though.
-
Thanks for this lmao. It really is bringing out all the hypocrites hahaha

5 RespuestasPot meet kettle.

You sound upset
-
Ye were the miserable ones 😒
-
5 RespuestasWhy do you assume it’s just PvP players?
-
Seriously. These types act like PvP is the main mode. They would accept 5 more years of the same stagnant sht. Delusions that Destiny 2 PvP is a divine competitive E-sport full of nuance and a delicate fine balance as they slide/peek shot with Handcannons or Prefire with Auto Rifles at corners in 3-6 stacks 🤣
-
11 RespuestasWeird. It's always pve-ers on my team holding me back. Those "conquerors" that can't seem to conquer a run button or conquer a radar lol.

2 RespuestasEditado por Facelauss: 4/10/2024 8:42:52 PMgasp How dare people be concerned* about something they like given bungies history gasp That being said based on the article bungie put out today, I doubt prismatic will be a huge issue in pvp on first glance Although we dont know what the new aspects actually are
-
The changes look great! A seamless melding of all subclasses - what a great idea! But when the developer says, "we want it to be a little broken," I get a little worried about how that will play in PVP. I'd rather not return to something like the Shatterdive meta or anything equivalent, regardless of how fun it is in PVE There's nothing wrong with questioning and speculating - just like you have the right to complement the changes, I have the right to critique them if I so choose

PvP is not the hold up. It’s the community that wants PvP to be Uber competitive. Sure, PvP should have a level of balance within it to make it fair, but it should be wild and full of Mayhem. It’s a hard cookie to crack, as enjoyment can be brought with a balanced experience, but you also want the players to feel powerful, and be rewarded for playing and building into a certain build and style of gameplay.
