Bungie killed this game with all the nerfs over the last year or so. it was there choice to drive players away with the none stop respawning ads in almost any content you do now . Not much left at this stage of the game but watch it all unravel when the final shape falls flat cause players have only BB guns to kill respawning none stop ads. This is how I will remember destiny, bungie just nerfing everything and everyone .

I’ve taken a break, last time I played was Sunday I will hop back on tomorrow 👌🏻

1 RespuestaYou know what burnie, you're right, people should listen to you. You're like the only ancient person that still knows where you're at when you arrive somewhere.
-
1 RespuestaF.O.M.O. It has a hold on a lot of players and just IB is proof of that. The problem is, a lot of the ones that have this issue refuse to get help.
-
I actually am taking a break right now to focus on my real job. Which is spreading democracy and freedom.

2 RespuestasYeah I stopped playing a bit Thursday, not a lot but it’s nice, been playing Fallour 4 and Content Warning with some friends. Coming back once that update drops this Tuesday
-
2 RespuestasAbsolutely! I think a lot of people are just stuck ! Playing is like a habit ….not even enjoyable just something you need to do . There’s so many great games around as well to check out . Will be interesting to see into the light . I know and see people who play 7 days a week for hours ….that’s not healthy in any way. I started becoming fed up so I took 4-5 weeks weeks , came back and not playing that much now .

4 RespuestasI've been bouncing around a few other games of late Dragon's Dogma 2 Control (after having it sit in my backlog catalog for a while) Heck, I even did new playthrough in The Division 2 and about to start the Warlords of NY campaign I'll log in on Tuesday to check out the Into the Light event, but considering that the premise of Onslaught is just not catching on with me, I may once again see my playtime in Destiny 2 to be non-existent until TFS.

5 RespuestasHaven't played for about 6 months or more. So many other games out there with FAR more content and interesting things to keep me going. I feel no need to jump back into the same old repetitive grind with the same old content and problems that's been around for years. Thoroughly enjoying my time away.

1 RespuestaBeen on a break for 3-4 months. Not that I was very active before. The game has been sucking harder and harder since Lightfall, and Bungie can’t seem to take a hint. They’re doubling down on the weakness fantasy. I’m not buying Final Shape. I’m just waiting to see how the Sony takeover plays out.

3 RespuestasTook a year and a half break, played quite a bit of banner this week and still no drop. Bad RNG is just bad RNG. Taking breaks has nothing to do with it. Cool that you got that roll. That doesn't excuse Destiny's archaic reliance on sheer dumb luck to induce satisfaction. The loot chase is just poorly designed by today's standards.

I did, haven’t played in 3 months mainly because the game is stale as hell I’ve learned to count on forum feedback for the state of the game hasn’t steered me wrong yet and judging by all the posts games still no better that and i have 0 intention on buying the final shape I’ve played destiny since October 2014 im not saddened at all to admit this games just not my cup of tea anymore.

This has the added benefit of making the game feel fresh and renewed. It prevents burnout, though FOMO does become an issue.
-
i left for 6 months. nothing improved.
-
4 RespuestasI took a break over a year ago. Never returned.
-
Destiny 2 sucks
-
I took a several month break during season of the witch and I've never felt more refreshed when coming back.
-
Biggest problem is you cant start focusing the weapon you want until it drops, i played iron banner for almost 2 resets and i got 0 grenade launchers, it took close to 30 emblems to just get one to drop.
-
I second this. Take 3-4 month breaks when I need to and it keeps me from raging so much.
-
3 RespuestasI also play the Borderlands franchise, Bioshock franchise, some COD, going to try Red Dead Redemption series and try a Fallout. I have played this not quite steady since the beta, took a long break when the game changed consoles. Now with the way things are headed I'm NOT buying TFS but will still play the dlcs I did buy as there is still enough for me to do in them.

Editado por Raven-Ghosthawk: 4/8/2024 1:11:43 AMTook a long break right around the month-long event where Raid was required. Difficulty with Raid and frustration at the aim 'assistance' was part of it. What was the final straw was piecing together that a step mechanic (in place at the time) didn't leave your progress untouched on failure -- it actually reversed it. So if you clawed for 2% progress in Crucible but lost the next match, you found your progress reset to 0%. Basically a step forward and 2 back. That mechanic was thankfully removed; the aim 'assistance', unfortunately, still remains from day 1 -- the barrel still drags to a target, and you can throw a punch (at nothing in front of you) that hits something off-screen and off-axis. The only regret is I was out for a few and returned just in time to catch Season of the Splicer.

1 Respuesta1.6.4 was prime Minecraft.

A little perspective goes a long way man. That and getting the roll you want right off the bat helps too haha. Rolls were easy this weekend for me. Took until Saturday to get the slice/chain reaction roll though but it’s a 5 out of 5.

4 RespuestasWow, I have yet to get event 1 drop 😮💨
