For our benevolent mentor and friend Activision.
Destiny was at its best during your kind ownership and patronage.
You kept evil impulses at check and promoted excelence.
Best content was made when you were in charge.
During your rein lots of joy were aplenty.
Shall here be your second coming. Dig a tunnel if you must.
In your wisdom we all trust.

Bungie is better when they are taking orders from a parent company than what we got out of independent Bungie.
-
Everyone blamed Activision for in game transactions Bungie took it to a whole other level And somehow it even got worse under Sony.. If bungie hired me to lead the PvP team it would be a top 5 game.

4 RespuestasNow look at activision 😂

1 RespuestaPlease tell me this is sarcasm.
-
Say what you want about bungie...but bobby koticks activison will never be topped in shady practices, lack of caring about the game, and general poor performance
-
4 RespuestasI'll have what OP's huffing lol

20 RespuestasCorrection: D1's success was because everything was written by pre-Activision Bungie. The same guys that basically made Xbox with Halo. Just before D1 released Activision forced Bungie to lay off a ton of employees. Anybody who wasn't laid off left.

9 RespuestasReminder that Activision considered Forsaken a failure and wanted to up the monetisation of the game. We were going in the same direction inevitably, it’s just under Activision we likely would’ve gotten there sooner.
-
Best content was made when you were in charge.
Activision is the reason High Moon and Vicarious Vision worked on this game. Without those 2 studies, I can't imagine where the game would have been. If Bungie was doing better work why is Sony ready to take over?
-
1 RespuestaCurse of Osiris, warmind, both game launches, double primary hell, shotguns in heavy slot, heavy monetization, wanted a d3 by beyond light, gambit prime, vex offensive, forges (loot good activity sucked), reckoning etc. Both the best and worst times for the game were under Activision. Without them, the worst the game got was mid

I just want to say thanks to all the investors, without whom, we wouldn’t have a Destiny to talk about. If any investors are reading this (I know many hang out in the forums), I think you’re doing a terrific job and I hope you enjoy all your wonderful money.

53 RespuestasEditado por Milk: 1/12/2024 5:22:38 PMAll corps are greedy, money grubbing caves full of monsters that only want to harvest your liver and sell it back to you at a premium. This goes for Bungie and Activision as well as all other video games corps. Always remember girls and boys, you're only useful to a corp if you have dollars in your pocket.

22 RespuestasDude they taught bungie all the scummy -blam!- they are pulling. These days more and more are going cash grab. I’d like to insert a coin directly…..
You kept evil impulses at check
lmao yeah ok

Pepperidge farms remembers different. Everyone was happy when they left. Now they’re not. They were blamed for all the bad at the time and now they’re credited with all that was good. Lol this forum is great content whilst pooping.

Go home Bobby you’re drunk.

30 RespuestasIt's honestly sad that this is completely true, and people are still giving Bungie the excuse. Activision went way far out of its way to help Destiny 2 try to be great, and Bungie failed at every level. Hell, we gotta remember the DLC that saved D2 Forsaken was mostly High Moon.

1 RespuestaEditado por Guardian, Archon Of Light: 1/12/2024 8:25:00 PMMicrosoft also I am an exclusive Playstation player, but I think both Halo and Destiny would be better today if they stayed with Microsoft

4 RespuestasEditado por Morakx: 1/12/2024 8:02:43 PMI remember the day when Activision announced that they dumped Bungie as if it was yesterday. Bungie made it seem like THEY wanted out of the contract and now they are finally free from the corporate greed etc. Streamers and the elitist community sheep were all celebrating. They were all making it sound like the best thing to happen ever. Boy were they fooled. I told them right away. Activision kept Bungie in line. They forced Bungie to deliver and supported them with EXTREMELY talented dev teams. Activision had quality standards and enforced them. They treated the game like a pay to play game with minimal side monetization as it should be for a full price title. Almost everything in the store was easily obtainable through gameplay aswell. Then Bungies independence came around. Quality standards instantly dipped below 2 man indie games that were made in half a year, resources were cut, leading to excessive connectivity issues, people were fired, reissues became a new standard, zero effort and passion, catering towards elitist streamers, HEAVY focus on monetization. Anti player decisions left and right to milk player engagement. Yep, thank you Activision. You guys made the most memorable pieces in gaming for me and many others, including D1 and its expansions, D2 vanilla (yea, i loved it outside of primary only in pve) and ofc forsaken. After that surprise surprise, the game went to #### right after the political activists who wanted work life balance instead of quality products and put revenue above everything started steering the now sunken ship.

See the bdf are still very active …. Lol
-
Oh yeah Bungie is low level. We were lucky to have them working on the game. Bungie’s PvP is awful

1 RespuestaClearly haven’t played call of duty in the last 4 years.

Get bent.

Editado por Dredgen Truth: 1/12/2024 9:37:16 PMWhy do I have to keep reminding people that activision is the company that is, without ANY exaggeration, against the implementation of civil liberties in (what china wishes are) chinese territories? The company that has bought out many studios only to sabotage their projects and then dismantle them when they do poorly. The company up until recently ran by bobby kotick, one of the most hated executives in the united states. The very same company which has had more harassment lawsuits in the past five years than I can even remember. Complaining about bungie and then going on to praise activision is, and I hope you'll excuse the religious imagery, like punching judas in the face only to go and personally offer up your soul to satan himself

13 RespuestasIf Activision was running this game, I would probably still be playing now. Once Activision dropped this broken and empty game, everything went dog poopers! Bwahahahahahaha!!! Welcome to hollowness!
