I am ABLE to do every single challenge in this game. Its easy for me. Obviously after all those thousands of hours. That doesnt change the fact that Bungies difficulty changes are completely UNFUN. They are not impossible to overcome. Not at all, before you call me bad. Its just the wrong direction for the game and has spread nothing but bad vibes for the vast majority of players in the community. Except for carry streamers who play 24/7 ofc. Like i said i COULD do all the new harder content easily, ive been through stuff like niobe labs with randoms without a mic and done multiple hard raid challenges from the very beginning on. Yet the current difficulty thats entirely catered towards content creators made all the casuals leave and made content unfun. Why? Because all it did was to make build crafting absolutely necessary and it made weapons almost obsolete. All it is now is an ability spam fiesta with some heavy weapon boss dps sprinkled into the loop. Passive gameplay because everything oneshots you and boring bullet spongie enemies. So yea you did a great dicision! I myself almost entirely stopped playing outside of the weekly story i paid for in advance and some casual pvp when im really bored with other games. They ruined a formerly awesome game franchise with greed and catering to the wrong audience.

And NOT because you are a casual solo player. BUT Because you’re a sub standard player with double primary auto rifle who dies 27 times in a sub standard history mission. I could barely manage to wonder the disasters you would cast upon a raiding party…..it’s not the game wasting your time….but you wasting time in a game not designed for you and players alike. Period

As primarily a solo player since all my friends stopped playing after year 1 of D2, I disagree. I understand not everyone has the same play style as me and each person is going to have their own opinion on the matter but this game is more solo friendly than ever. I can play trials, I can play comp, I can easily find team mates for dungeons if I decide to and not have to use any communication to be able to complete them and basically get my raid fix w/o having to do a 6 man raid and talk to people. Oh and gambit. Idk maybe that’s just me

2 RespuestasI started playing Destiny when it launched. I was a solo player for months, casually enjoyed the game. Bumped into a real life friend in the tower, he convinced me to join him for a raid, we had a really good sherpa, patient explanations, and I felt like a better player with better loot after spending time with a group running D1 Vault of Glass. Started using LFG and friending people who were good team mates. Learned the first two raids well enough to help other people, found I really enjoyed teaching and raiding. Friend list got bigger. Was encouraged to try streaming by another friend. Turns out that was a good fit too. Now have over 14,000 hours in Destiny 2, have cleared over 5,000 raids, and helped 3,500+ rookies get their first clear of raids in D2. You're right, the game is not great for solo players. So don't play solo. We specialize and prioritize helping players learn endgame PvE content like raids and dungeons, rookies get priority and there is no toxicity or drama. My bungie name is ARTFUL 5#9117 and my twitch channel is just ARTFUL5 visit ask for team mates, we'll help you out. Story, nightfalls, dungeons, raids, this game offers so much, but you need a fireteam to enjoy it in my opinion. If anyone reading this feels frustrated with solo runs and LFG, then visit me and let's get you on a fireteam, you own the game, you should be able to play ALL the game.

I agree that Bungie has been turning the game into something much more fireteam oriented and less accessible for solo players. It starts with the materials (prisms and ascendant shards) and ends with the difficulty of some activities. They started losing tens of thousands of players since lightfall because of making this game feel like a second job for those who also have a normal life. But hey, it's their game, if they want to alienate a huge amount of their players, that's their problem. The game will never survive only with the diehards of Destiny. Never.
