Black Armory OR at least the forges *MUST* come back in this 7 months season...
Right now there has passed more time since forges were removed than there was to get the black armory weapons, you brought back season of the drifter and season of undying and season of opulence weapons which I'm not sure who asked for while the community is moaning for years *FOR YEARS* for black armory to come back.
I know its probably just me but I feel like a part of my soul is missing since I deleted those weapons cause I thought they would be useless which they wouldn't be in at least some activities. Like, like do you not seeeeee all the feedback about people wanting you to bring back black armory weapons likeeeeee or how you made Ada-1 into a glorified clown of a paint shop. I'm serious why do you insist on being so rude to your player base. I know not everyone has such strong feelings about black armory as me but people do show that they want that content back. It's just so upsetting that it seems so forgotten to the devs or unnecessary. I don't think Ada-1 is happy making ornaments. Its just sad. I'm not hating on recent seasons but wouldn't the game be more fun with the seasonal content and the forges. Do you not see that for veteran players there's nothing to do besides running the same content over and over and over again for mediocre rewards at best.
and according to the lore that you yourself wrote and Ada-1 voice lines
wasn't the whole PURPOUSE of black armory to create weapons and armor for people to be able to protect themselves in case of a crisis like THE WITNESS ENTERING THE TRAVELER.

what do we have out of it besides 3 exotic weapons some ornaments and one piece of exotic armor (and some armor if you played when the raid or season was out)
I'm writing this straight out of my heart cause there's a huge needle inside it that's been there for years now, that You put there, by removing those beautiful amazing weapons, and activity.
I'm writing this with all the love and respect a committed player that supported you for years can give.
Is it not the golden hour for the cherry time.

They are probably just waiting for the right time to monetize it. Everything that the community really likes and appreciates about this game, bungie always seems to find a way to take it away and eventually bring it back at twice the cost.

6 RespuestasI mean, sure that would be nice. But never underestimate the community.... devouring hunger....we'll say. Regardless of population size. It'll eventually be eaten up. Not pre-ordered, just...consumed for the sake of it. Maybe. Story wise it could probably happen after we hit our "Age of Triumph" like season after TFS is done. It'll give Bungie another attempt to re-surface the Black Forge and buy the next season. As long as they have marketing reason to try and repolish and resell what is already made (and hasn't been completely killed off story wise - that's also key). Then we'll have a "Feedback Frenzy" of: [i]"This sucks because it's not like the old version/Why can't you un-sunset my Blast Furnace I held onto for years"[/i] Then it gets forgotten because anyone who cared got their guns and left. Then fuel tank goes back to "empty". Return to step one and refill. Whatever that means... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2 RespuestasI would like the black armory weapons to return. The problem is that the scourge of the past raid weapons will probably not be included. Even MORE pressing… due to the nature of how Bungie made the game, it’s VERY likely they won’t be NEARLY as good, unless the items themselves are only available in an endgame activity. If not, we won’t get rolls like rampage/kill clip on kindled orchid for example. As always said… be careful what you wish for…

[b][i]BUT [/i][/b]- look at how they "mess" (yep trying to be gentle with the language) everything up now a-days so that its no longer fun just a loooonnnnnnggggggggggg boring slug fest. Multiple clips from us, God-Killers, and mere minion lackeys one shotting us. Knowing that they would do the same to all BA events even with a modern Blast Furnace I doubt I'd run it more then twice, which is how many times I've ran the Coil. It's fun till level 4 and then so not fun. Oh and also note one of the the Forge's (Izanami's) is still MIA. But Bungo would bring it back somehow with a quick load into it so they did not have to create something new.

2 RespuestasIf I could pick one thing put back into D2 during this massive gap, it would have to be all the Raids. Leviathan, Scourge, Crown, even Eater and Spire. And Bungie wouldn't even have to do much. Remember, during Season of Arrivals all the Raids had their gear brought up to the current system. And since everything from Season of Arrivals was spared from Sunsetting, they don't even need to rework any of the gear. While the Forges would be cool to see brought back, that would mean Bungie would have to bring all that gear up to the current system. And we all know how much Bungie hates doing actual work.

If they ever decided on a BA season/episode they should add a seasonal "weapon crafting" system that works similar to how baking cookies from Dawning works, with various resources in combinations create different weapons with different MW or perks. Could even have a way to infuse a different origin trait on the weapon or something.

I want to thank everyone who sacrificed their time to share their opinion, think this is the way to shinning a bit more light to what WE as players NEED. Hopefully we get noticed by someone in charge.

1 RespuestaHere me it out, they bring it back to fill the 4 month gap between this season and final shape. Clears now have a chance to drop 1 of the remaining 24 catalyst for exotics that currently don't have them. Also they bring back the old black armory weapons.

The most likely thing that will happen to bridge the gap is a Garden of Salvation loot refresh; many people were expecting it to happen anyway, and it could be connected to the seasonal story if needs be. Maybe there will be a new Exotic armour piece for each class? It would be logical for some things planned for release alongside The Final Shape not being pushed back and instead released at this season's midpoint. If any previous seasonal weapons were to be brought back, then I would put money on it being either Dawn or Arrivals. Last season, we had the Worthy flashback and those guns are still available to use - albeit not very good - and this season we're getting the Undying one, with those weapons now craftable. Dawn in particular has very desirable armour, and its weapons are sunset, while ones from Arrivals can still be used. Perhaps directly comparable is TTK's April update, which did revamp Prison of Elders as part of its offerings, but I get the sense that reusing older, vaulted content in the last opportunity to bring players back before The Final Shape is probably the wrong move. It would be fine if a bunch of new stuff was alongside it, but I would be astonished if they were able to produce a new Strike and/or activity. A potential, but minor, problem for the Black Armory set is that it was split between the Forges and Scourge of the Past. On the one hand, only doing the Forge weapons would leave the set incomplete and be very frustrating for fans of No Feelings, Threat Level and Tempered Dynamo - all outstanding weapons. On the other, adding another 10 weapons to chase patterns/rolls for would be very tedious and annoy players just as much.
