Bungie This Is Borderline Insanity
I’ve completed Ghosts of the Deep 48 times - 46 lootable clears. I have two exotic drop rate boosters, which is all that I’m able to complete, and I still don’t have The Navigator. What gives Bungie? This is beyond insanity! What adds insult to injury is that the other players in my fireteam get it and/or get duplicate drops of it. Running an activity 30+ times and not getting an exotic is *NOT* a “badge of honor.” It’s borderline sadistic and insane.

I got it while helping two other guardians during their catalyst run.

You don’t need a navigator. Your phone has GPS.

Yeah it's frustrating but it's a part of the game and if you played Destiny 1 like I did this is nothing.. Took me 4 years to get ghorn in D1 and it wasn't until the last expansion when Bungie literally gave ghorn as a dlc reward to everyone I got it for the first time 😎

My days of chasing the carrots are over, I learned in d1. Didn't get mytho until 2016. I gave up on chasing at that point.

4 RespuestasI believe, but I may be wrong, that the base is 5% plus 1% for booster. So there's a 96.45% chance that you should have had it in 46 clears. 1 - (1 - 0.07))^46 = 1 - 0.93^46 = 1 - 0.0355 = 0.9645. With no boosters it's 90.55%. Point is, yep Bungie is a mess and lazy when it comes to RNG. I don't disagree that people who complete the challenges deserve it faster, but they need an endgame that's reasonable for the poor souls who spend seasons just chasing an exotic. I mean mathematically, someone could never get it for the lifespan of the game. They need loot protection on all exotics.

Sadly for bungie I don’t get that itch and greedy need where I’m obsessed with trying to obtain something. If bungie had a better RNG, and better pvp this game would be top 10 of all time.

I think these boosters are placebos That's why people with no boosters can get it on there first clear, and people with all of them still don't get it I had all possible boosters and still took a while to get , I think like my 14th clear

2 RespuestasIt’s crazy because I have more endgame exotics, which is to say all of them, than I do legendary dungeon weapon rolls that I want, which is to say zero. Completely unreasonable. Rigid RNG with no meaningful measure of player agency or bad luck protection is cancer for loot games. There are zero benefits to the player for it existing that way. Not a one.

So how much are checkpoint ? Its weird i feel at this point they destroy your chance whenever peoples try to checkpoint farm which its hilarious if they do and doesn't told anyone

The dangers of chasing RNG loot. This is where the gambling mechanic kicks in. People stop playing an activity for fun and, instead, wager their time in return for a chance of hitting the jackpot. You can either wait for Bungie to solve your problem for you, or you can take ownership of how you play the game.

7 RespuestasYeah it took me 102 clears to finally pull The Navigator. I actually had my Ghoul title before I got The Navigator, and I'm honestly so unimpressed with the Dungeon design that I don't even flex the title
