I've never played any fromsoftware games before, should I buy this? Elden ring is not going to perform well on my pc, otherwise I would buy that.

Sekiro is like a girlfriend. It's hard to learn and play, but when you get the hang of it then it's great.

Disclaimer: Sekiro is the one I haven't played, but from what I hear it's one of the harder ones. Requires a lot more parrying than usual. If you have a Playstation, I'd recommend going Bloodborne instead, because Bloodborne's the best. If you don't have a Playstation, I'd recommend going with one of the Dark Souls games. 3 is probably the easiest, 2 is my favorite, and 1 is good, but a bit dated. If you plan to play all of them, start with 1 because the mechanics only get better from there.

Phenomenal game

Highly recommend. Frustrating to time it right until I turned off the motion smoothness on my tv. Wo long is also fun as hell and the souls games. Been meaning to replay it but I have less time to game these days.

3 RespuestasEditado por Ion, Disciple of Melvin: 10/19/2023 2:53:31 AMSekiro by far is the most skill based of the souls or souls-like games in FromSoft’s library. No means of over leveling, permanently lose half your XP and sen in full death, dying has a far greater impact on the story, and there are no summons. If you’ve never played a souls game, it’ll be extremely difficult. Deflecting attacks is mandatory and your doge roll has less i-frames than usual. If you’re willing to complete the game and the true ending, it’s by far one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. Not a single bad boss or area. It’s probably the best FS game overall I’d argue, heck maybe the closest to a perfect game I’ve played.

2 RespuestasYeah it's pretty fun, though it's the most skill and timing focused one. It's basically a rhythm game RPG. For something more casual, Dark Souls 3 is pretty newcomer friendly and not too difficult. Has more Quality of Life features than the other two souls games.
Bloodborne is a must if you have a PlayStation though. Faster gameplay, rewards aggression and risk.
I haven't played as much as sekiro as I have elden ring, but sekiro is definitely a harder game compared to elden ring, due to you having to learn enemies attacks and (in my opinion) the timing for parrying is much less forgiving than the timing for rolling in elden. And also I feel like the healing in sekiro is alot weaker compared to elden If you haven't played a souls type of game before, sekiro will definitely frustrate you lol. It's fun but frustrating, especially if you aren't one of those people on YouTube who is unkillable and makes the game look SUPER fun, parrying barrages and stuff lol
