You sure nerfing strand was a good idea? 😆

3 RespuestasLMAO, people are trying to use "it's the end of the season". If the game is that great, why does the pop only go up when seasons drop? Oh, that's right, the rest of the game is dead 😂🤦♂️
-
5 RespuestasThat’s only steam post all platforms next time plzzzz and the games 9 years old, end of a pretty dry and bland season, also towards the end of summer, seems pretty high to me despite all of that.
-
6 RespuestasYeah it's almost like it's the end of the season...
-
2 RespuestasIt's not like it's the end of the season and there's -blam!- all to do... oh wait. You should be a journalist with your bs narrative
-
Destiny 2 went from an all-time high in players when Lightfall came out to an all-time low now. That is the problem. All seasons see a drop in players toward the end, but the drop we're seeing now represents how much Bungie blew it with Lightfall. The game will survive but the lost opportunity represented by these numbers to end the Destiny 2 saga strongly hurts.

Terrible bait. Down voted 😂😂🤷🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️

Editado por Eclipse: 8/10/2023 4:18:26 PMCalled season drought my friend happens every last month of every season. I can tell you have no hours in this game

8 Respuestas
You sure nerfing strand was a good idea? 😆
Well yeah, there’s nothing to do right now. Two weeks until anything new drops. The nerfs and buffs announced had no impact on player count.
-
3 Respuestas> 2 weeks left in season > Nothing new this week, Solstice just ended Good? Players being smart with their time and playing Baldur's Gate 3: Bear snu-snu simulator
-
Imagine posting something with no context to mislead people...
-
2 RespuestasBut d2 isn't played only on steam... 24h avg is still 500k+ across 3 platforms (source warmind.io), even in the middle of the week...and it's summer, meaning a lot of players are on holiday or just going out more, and it's end of season, on the whole it's not that bad tbh, I've seen waaaaay worse in the past.
-
2 RespuestasWelcome to the endof every Destiny season we've ever had.
-
12 RespuestasDude it's gonna be low , end of season always is 🤡
-
For those who care. OP took the concurrent (that's how many people are playing at the exact same time) player count of a single hour to make this post. He choose 3:00 am.
-
Statements like this are so dumb at this point in a season. It is normal. player count has always dropped over at the end of seasons regardless or any decision bungie makes. That is even ignoring when other big games come out, like Remnant 2 and Baldur's Gate 3. the player count will spike at the start of the new season like it always does.
-
4 RespuestasIm not sure players stopped because of strand nerfs. Because even with strand being OP...where would you use it rn ?
-
According to a certain someone, this is what Bungie wants haha
-
I really can’t overstate how bad Lightfall was. Don’t have any hope for the future.
-
10 RespuestasBetter player numbers than the Halo infinite, Outriders, and Anthem player population.
-
2 RespuestasGood, I hope it drops even further. Bungie is lost in the sauce, they forget that a game is supposed to be fun. I can understand nerfs in PvP although the Stompee nerf was questionable.
-
Nerfing strand has nothing to do with it. Scummy monetization schemes, lack of content, overpricing, and disconnect from the community is why people are leaving
-
8 RespuestasIf we compare this to the same time last year, it is a steep and substantial drop.
-
Let us help Bungie reach ZERO steam players.... Oh wait... looks like they do not need our help after all at this rate.. Carry on!
-
Strand is the least of it. Neomuna is a terrible location with no fun to be had, the Lightfall "story" was and still is laughably bad, pvp lag is at an all time high because of cross play, they took away solo que,(which was a cross play workaround for PC), and instead of bring back all of the many good strikes in Destiny history they added battlegrounds to the Strike list(and that is cobbled together seasonal garbage, not actual replayability). Then they added in systems that punish solo play while at the same time creating such low QoL that keeping a fire team whole is just a chore in itself.

Strand is getting a completely unsurprising nerf halfway through the year. Is there really anyone that thought it wouldn't work like that? And it sounds like it's at least partially to make room for the second half of the year for strand. The player population goes up and it goes down. Lightfall and season of the deep also had some really high player numbers. Not sure why the player numbers are supposed to stay the same after everyone has played the content. People always talk about how this is a PvE game but then look at the player numbers like it's an esport or some kind of eternal cattle call.
