I have already posted about this issue, that is most likely not unique to me. Here is a further breakdown to my trials experience last weekend compared to 2 friends on my list, also solo queuing. The results in matchmaking are interesting.
The number percentage are what Destinytracker listed for win percentage.

Please Bungie. I will compensate you for your time and efforts if you will just please look at the issue. I will donate to a charity of your choosing. This is not an attempt at vanity. I love this game, but it seems that the love is not reciprocated. I am genuinely curious what, if anything, I am doing to be subject to such oppressive matchmaking when my peers/friends are experiencing such favorable matchmaking. Is there something I can do on my end? This is clearly not fair and I’m just looking for anything. You could easily tell me that this is exactly what Bungie intended. Or that this is just how matchmaking is and to get used to it. I’m just looking for anything to explain this. Please and thank you in advance

You have to understand that trials is inherently a canabilzing system. I’ll try to explain. It’s a piramide system where you need 7 wins to climb to the top. But like any luck game (blackjack/roulette etc) you can calculate the odds on any given base. But if you add sbmm to the equation you’re -blam!-. Because winning each game with a 50% change of winning for 7 strait wins a row is astronomical low. Like i stated without mercy it’s 0.67% of winning 7 times in a row. So with trials being a piramide system it can’t have sbmm on top of the situation. Now about the canabalize part; for ppl to reach the top you have to have players at the bottom. Now when these players feel they can’t reach there goals they quit. So the lower to mid players will now be the worst in the pool. This cycle will continue untill the hardcore player is left. Hope this explains a lot
