All day I’ve been unable to open the game past the character selection screen. Every time, without change, I select my Warlock and wait a few moments on a black screen before a red bar appears at the bottom of the screen saying “Contacting Destiny Servers”. After a few minutes of this, it’ll give me a weasel error and boot me back to the start screen. I’ve attempted to restart my Xbox One X multiple times via holding the power button 10 seconds and waiting a few minutes before turning it back on, and I’ve fully uninstalled and reinstalled Destiny 2 and all of its DLC, to no avail. I’m unable to connect my system directly to the router for a wired connection, but I assure you that my internet is fast and was running the game fine yesterday without any problems. Also, before anyone asks, no I haven’t been banned (unless I’m just not being told that I was?) I just want to play, and I have no idea how to fix this :( someone please help.
