Since 2000 and 2012 were a bust, but the hype was fun, I figured we should set a new date farther into the future to get our grandkids all worked up.
I’d suggest 2112 as there is already some groundwork laid out by Rush, and it’s 100 years off from 2012.
But this is a forum, and discussion could lead to a better idea, and ways to enforce it’s “legitimacy”.

I think the world ending bits lost popularity when conspiracy theories became mainstream. Now we don't get fun -blam!- like 2012 and Mothman, we get 5g and the woke agenda. Lame. I miss watching dumb shows recounting alien abductions!

1 RespuestaI don’t know how you expect to scam people out of their money unless you put the end date a bit closer. Add some QAnon bullshit because they’re probably the most gullible group at the moment.

I can get behind 2112

1 RespuestaPeople have predicted so many different end dates over the years. I've learned to just laugh and (as long as those people don't cause issues) move on. Sometimes I can't help but imagine 10,000 years ago our ancestors thinking the world was at an end because climate change had ended the ice age and they were all going to die.
