While I agree something needs to be done, you do realize once Lightfall goes live we will have ingame LFG anyways and it will kind of solve itself

Yeah it should help in not getting directly messaged, I hope, but it could also mean that we see advertising for paid carries directly in the game too.

That's what we will need to figure out then. If I would be Bungie, I would only allow pre-defined titles in the LFG section

That sounds like a pretty good idea. Only thing is that it sounds like it would make creative runs, like void only and more, harder to set up. However, if it means less paid carries that'd be alright
