So unless you're in the top 5%, you're destined to lose 85% of the games with a positive kd? (this is being reported across many accounts, not just mine).
Point of matchmaking is to level the playing fields. Closer to 50% winrate. This is also the same company that stuck little lights in Dares and sluffed it off to the community to take care of instead of patching it immediately.
Was that intended?

Editado por Error Code: Skill Issue: 1/8/2022 5:14:41 PMThe point of matchmaking is to locate players to take part in a multiplayer game session. No more, no less. As I already said, working as intended. Sounds like you’re experiencing underperformance issues on your end.
-
As I've stated. I'm not having bad games myself. I'm getting put into games where 5/6 people on my team go negative and there's someone on their team with a 16.0 KD and 50 kills. You think this shouldn't be addressed what soever?
-
Working as intended. Doesn’t need to be addressed. Sounds like some people need to rise to the occasion and start pulling their own weight.
-
Very jaded. Saying 5 people that have 1 week of pvp experience should be cannon fodder for the vet is incredibly based. "We're breaking up this match to find better teams..." - yeah, that's not any sort of matchmaking is it? I'll wait for bungies reply, not a based pvper that's already on top.
-
Editado por Error Code: Skill Issue: 1/8/2022 6:09:10 PMYou’ll be waiting for a while since Bungie rarely responds to posts on this forum. Most complaints posted on this forum are non-issues, just posts written out of frustration and/or a-blam!-, so Bungie doesn’t waste their time addressing them.
-
I'm not sure an entire playerbase experiencing horrible matchmaking in PvP is an unwarranted complaint. But sure. I'll gladly wait and keep posting.
-
This forum represents a very small percentage of the entire playerbase. I don’t think it’s accurate to say “the entire playerbase” is having an issue with MM.

Reddit. Other places. Articles. Looking at seasonal stats for players under a specific ELO. Current system is creating an endless loop of lost games for midlow-mid range players. You've only stated that 'its working as intended' as if you have some inside knowledge or have ever done game dev (I have 4 years of game dev btw, working in balancing and QA). If you can't present any other points outside of, "nuh uh" it's not even a discussion.
-
You do realize the playerbase is far bigger than what you see on social media, right? I’m sure there are a ton of people who don’t whine on forums whenever they lose a PvP match.
-
Not whining after losing one match. It's after having a 15% winrate across an entire season compared to a 54% or so in the past 14 seasons. Doesn't take hardly an ounce of reasoning to see something is off. Also. https://twitter.com/A_dmg04/status/1478470144024363015?t=oTfwpjqNWteRwbUwlGeo4w&s=19

Tried performing at a higher level? That isn't the point, he said he had a much higher win rate in the last 14 seasons while performing at the same level.
-
Maybe everyone else is improving while their performance has remained the same?
-
Maybe, but seems sudden to go from 54% to 15% in one season instead of being linear
