Mars/Savathuns Ship location confirmed for Witch Queen!
We saw this in the game awards trailer last night. Will rasputin come back? Will Ana Bray die? Will escalation Protocol return? Will forum rats complain about reissued content?

5 RespuestasMore to the point, HOW IS MARS BACK? Throughout all the leaks and stuff I thought 'no it won't be Mars, Mars is currently a black hole anomaly, what could have wrenched it back from the Darkness? Savathun? Surely it isn't actually Mars, just some sort of freaky illusion she pulled off.

3 RespuestasI think we're going to Mars just for the first mission(like the first mission in the Taken king campaign in D1 which was on Phobus,not sure on spelling) I don't think its comming back as apatrol zone.

Not to mention back in D1 we had no new locations, except dreadnought in the 3rd expansion, (and I think a location in the 4th?). Now we get two each year.

3 RespuestasThe better question: Is Savathun responsible for the disappearance of vaulted planets? Lore wise everyone in the tower blames the pyramid ships, and the planets just disappeared. If this was true then how was a guardian on mars unless savathun simply hid the planets and the pyramids had nothing to do with the disappearance.

Not related to Rasputin. No she won't die. EP might come back. They shouldn't complain. I only see reused planet complaints being valid if the same exact location is used. This doesn't appear to be Hellas Basin or Meridian Bay. Seems to be a new area of Mars.

Rasputin returning is all but guaranteed to happen at some point; and I heavily doubt Ana Bray would be killed off in an expansion she's has no part in, or even in a season. Many leaks that have now been confirmed to be extremely accurate (such as the pastebin leak) state that we will be returning to the Meridian Bay rather than the Hellas Basin, so Escalation Protocol won't be returning.
