Hey. This is miserable. This is absolutely miserable.
I’m not a terrible PvP player - tend to do really well in competitive and in crucible, and I am constantly ruined in Trials. No one in my clan will even play: they just say it’s awful and Bungie will never fix it.
I simply cannot stand the fact that you gate access to weapons behind people fighting against you with those same weapons, and there seems to be literally nothing that can even those odds. This is legitimately the worst time I’ve had playing a video game.
I’m not a terrible PvP player - tend to do really well in competitive and in crucible, and I am constantly ruined in Trials.
So when your in a competitive environment people actually care about you suddenly can't do well? Just accept that you're bad and join the rest of us. It's liberating when you admit it.

6 RespuestasHey buddy, just read your post and I’m a bit confused. You claim to be a good player but after looking at your stats it appears you’re playing at a negative KD overall. You say weapons are gated but you fail to explain how? The weapons are in the game and obtainable. Of course, you have to buy the DLC to play trials, however, besides that, all players have the same chance to obtain trails weapons, it just comes down to their ability. You say people use trials weapons to beat you, but if we look at weapon statistics the only trials weapon to break top 10 used guns in trials is igneous hammer and it’s barley on the list. In fact most guns being used are obtained from PvE. Lastly, you say bungie will never attempt to fix it. Yet, this season, bungie made huge changes to trials and every single weekend they revamp the playlist. This season more people have been flawless, especially bad players, than any other season. Your post seems to be made with a bit of ignorance and a lot of anger. Feel and emotion with no logic and understanding. I’ll tell you what though. I’m a 3.0+KD top 1% player. If you admit you’re entire post is ignorant gibberish, edit your post, and have the balls to admit you’re wrong and only made this post out of anger, I will carry you to flawless for free next weekend.

19 RespuestasTrial weapons arent the most meta options. So...no there is no gatekeeping. Actually there is no trial weapons being "meta" besides messenger. But honestly this is easily countered

Play something else

Editado por eternal_napalm: 11/30/2021 1:49:52 PMWin your games. I suck at PVP (in this game) but I don't think I'm entitled to the loot from Trials if I don't win. Just like Trials players aren't entitled to Vex Mythoclast or 1K Voices unless they raid. It is what it is...endgame content for people who do said content.

Quit playing it. Let it die or be reworked. Nothing will change from all the complaints if people continue to play.

The stale hand cannon shotgun meta is bad. We have been in it for years. Of the 17 top weapons used In PvP 12 of them are hand cannons and shotguns. Bungie has made them so good that is all anyone uses. They neglect most of the weapons in the game and only cater to a certain play style. On top of that the PvP group is bad at what they do and it is painful to see all of the issues in this mode. If a weapon other than a hand cannon or shotgun is strong it gets nerfed but not these two. Bungie could learn a thing or two about PvP from 343.

1. Quite a few of the best pvp weapons are from pve so complaining about people using trials weapons doesn’t really make sense. 2. Some weekends it’s in quite a good place this season. (Besides the 1st capture points was up & weekend win based mm) • if you really need/want to, waiting to play until the flawless pool is up (Sunday- reset) it becomes easy af when it’s a thing as well (most weekends) 3. Giving people a thing to strive for is done in pve (master raid & GM) as well as pvp and there’s nothing wrong with it, & adept is barely different than normal.

I mean it honestly just looks like you are trash at the game. But thats okay, Im pretty trash too.

My man https://trials.report/report/3/4611686018481715015 site tells a different story. The game would be pretty boring if we made the best gear easily obtainable. Honestly tho the best primary for trials is an explosive round fatebringer with solid stats or basically any high stat explosive round hand cannon you’ve managed to get. Aside from maybe messenger trials guns are generally top 3 if that in class

People use the complaint that content is being gated in the strangest of ways.

2 Respuestas
I simply cannot stand the fact that you gate access to weapons behind people fighting against you with those same weapons, and there seems to be literally nothing that can even those odds.
There are only TWO Trials weapons that don't have a comparable PvE counterpart, and those are Shayura's Wrath and Messenger (and even then No Time to Explain can deal with Messenger). Everything else has a comparable or better PvE counterpart when it comes to PvP use. And Trials weapons have essentially become free now as well. All you need is to lose enough matches to rank up and boom. Get your drop. So if just the weapons are your problem, you should get them eventually.

No one in your clan will play and you blame bungie for it? That's a you problem. Find another clan with players which play it. Also you're negative KD. I am aswell. Reality is other players are better. You really have 3 choices. 1. Just play for fun. It's a game. You should not be getting frustrated over game. Just let your trials level rank up and claim weapons that way. 2. Spend alot of time getting better. That doesn't mean few hours or weeks. The good players have spent years learning to get better. 3. Just admit defeat and don't play it.

Trials doesn’t gate content? There is no story, or activity that needs Trails. Weapons? Sure a few weapons need Trials to be obtained. But all you have to do is level up Saint 14, which can be done with all loses too, and then you get engrams. Decrypt the engrams and once you get a weapon you can then focus the engrams for more rolls of that weapon. The only thing you’re really gated from is the adept versions. But I bet most of your deaths come from weapons not obtained in Trials. And even if they are adept versions of Trials weapons, you’d have lost to the non-adept versions in the hands of the same users too.
I simply cannot stand the fact that you gate access to weapons behind people fighting against you with those same weapons, and there seems to be literally nothing that can even those odds. This is legitimately the worst time I’ve had playing a video game
The internal contradiction of having "hardcore competitive PvP" as part of a loot or other progression-based game. The "rich get richer"....then use both their skill AND their newly-acquired gear advantage to gatekeep and frustrate other players. The Division 1 was nearly destroyed as a game and a franchise by this. PVP players glitched and exploited the game to reach max level as fast as possible.... ...then went into the Dark Zone (open-world PvP) and use that advantage to stall the progress of PVE players who were being forced into that part of the game in order to progress. Those PVE players got sick of it, and left the game. Nearly destroying it in the process.

8 RespuestasYou are a less than 1 kd player hoping to get good loot from trials. Do you also go into Master VoG and hope to get timelost gear at 1100? Trials is an endgame pvp event and just because it is easy to enter doesn’t mean it should be just as easy to win in.
-
Unless you do everything and are *good* at everything, you’re not getting all the best stuff. Simple as that. You don’t *need* to play trials. Trials is for PvP players mostly, just like Master VOG is for PvE players or the few PvP players that grind hard enough to get good and also up light level. Again, and I cannot stress this enough. You don’t achieve every loot avenue in a game unless you are GOOD at every activity. ...and that’s okay. You’re not at a disadvantage because you don’t have trials specific loot in PvE.

2 RespuestasAdepts aren't worth the effort. Wait till a 2x reputation weekend and farm engrams at 7 wins. That's what I did and now I don't touch the mode with a 10 foot pole (till they add appealing loot). As far as it being not fun...I 100% agree. The same can be said for Crucible as a whole IMO.
-
You don't need adept to complete content. Their normal counterparts do just fine and can roll the same perks. What's holding Trials back is a lack of rewards vs time invested. There aren't enough rewards to justify playing through it. Everything else is up to the player. There is plenty to use against them. Adept weapons are gated behind flawless and that's okay. The sweats need something to aim for which is fine. PvP mains farm trials it's their playground. It's no different than PvE mains living in grandmaster nightfalls. They'll get the loot like free candy because they put in the effort to learn what works well and synergise with other people. Adaptability is a strong hand here to a point.....lets face it you can't adapt to broken -blam!-.
-
2 RespuestasTbh even the worst players can still get good loot from Trials pretty easily in the early levels when Saint literally drowns you in engrams.
