With the upcoming updates to the ability regen sandbox, these regen perks i think could use some tweaking to balance out use cases. WIth how they said Kinetic weapons will probably get the most benefit out of ability regen damage/kills, I think Power and Energy(Special?) weapons should get a little more benefit atleast in terms of ammo economy. People will barely use these perks over DPS damage perks. My suggestion would be if Thresh & Wellspring give a flat out higher ability energy return for Kinetics for the consistency but [b][u]Power and/or Special Ammo weapons can get stacking buffs (x2, x3)[/u][/b] for every kill that way the ability energy returns is multiplicative. Because we usually use power weapons for stronger single type enemies or even if we use them against multiple targets we barely benefit from it due to the limited ammo. I think that will incentivize players into using these perks more over damage perks for these weapons and really add more diversity to gameplay.
