Vex is broken in PVP
Bungie can you please look at the ttk for the vex. This gun is killing guardians way to fast. On top of that the drop rate for this gun is lacking. For someone who has run the raid over 25 times with no drop is really pretty bad. I paid for the dlc and this should not be about RNG. Why are our chances not increased each time we run the raid. I have enjoyed the new trials but the vex is just to much. I guess it would be different if we all had the weapon.

And what if as soon as you get it, bungie decides to nerf it, will you then complain about it being nerfed? As for the vex: I don't understand the boards. All you see is posts about low drop rate, yet people want it nerfed cause it seems to be running rampant in pvp lol. Side note: these posts let me know who played d1 when the vex was first introduced and who didn't. Say that cause this vex is nothing compared to that lol.

I dont raid so I understand Ill never get it but it is counterable. I personally run high rof pulses, 720s, or peek shoot with bows to take vexies on, the good thing about vex users is that they are often way over confident. Exploit that flaw and utilise cover and you will often come out on top.

18 Respuestassure it's strong, but it's not Meta breaking I see a lot of people point out it's #1 weapon used, however fusions are currently 3rd in total kills, behind shotguns at #2, and hand cannons at #1. hand cannons have a large variety which skews the numbers, but hand cannons are still the most dominant weapon type in trials. so I guess hand cannons need a nerf if we go by numbers huh? the total hand cannon usage triples vex usage. but I guess anything that threatens the hand cannon Meta we have had for years is bad.

3 RespuestasIt's not broken. It IS however, a total gut punch every time I'm killed by it when Bungie hasn't seen fit to reward me with it after any of my 30+ VoG clears. They've already insulted me with the awful RNG, there's no need to rub salt in the wound and seemingly let everyone else I'm ever matchmade against somehow have been fortunate enough to get it already.

29 RespuestasVex is an exotic and a raid exotic at that, meaning you must sacrifice that exotic slot to use it. It has quite low right of fire compared to most full auto weapons. It will never win if you know how to counter a full auto gun. I suspect many of you have been so used to the hand cannon/shotgun meta you’ve forgotten how to handle a new meta. It's also a RAID EXOTIC so it should be POWERFUL The new LFR, and hunter armor are actual problems, but Vex? I gotta disagree for the whole part.

4 RespuestasAre you kidding?? I have been taken out across the board with one shot with a hand Cannon. The Vex is good but not broken. I use Vex and I use other exotic armor and mods to enhance the vex. With all my mods and armor that increases fire damage along with the seasonal mods that basically wants you to use fusion or L fusion it's awesome. It's always something that's good for a Season. Get one and play with it.

The people honestly defending Vex are the same people that say all HCs are busted op. Wonder why Vex has over 3 million more kills in trials than any handcannon in the game... Wack.

Pulse rifles and 600 rpm auto rifles as well as smg's and and scouts have a faster TTK than vex and you're crying over VM? Spare me your shotgun ape tears.

The only thing too strong about it is 2 Guardian kills for Linear mode. Needs to be 3, then it’s fine.

What you think is broken is the vex catalyst that give a damage buff after a kill Honestly I have vex and that damage buff need to be reduced for PvP

Vex is not that hard to beat. Is just an really easy gun to use.

It should be nuts but not like this. The ranged ttk is the issue. Nerf the range, keep the damage!
