I quite like being able to farm a lost sector for specific exotics tbh.
For instance if I want another pair of legs with higher stats or different distribution, or even have a pair of each arc, solar, void - just do whichever sector and (obviously depending on rng) you'll get them.

Beats the D1 model of Exotic Drops IMO.....at least something can be aspired to (and then nerfed into buggery...LOL). You can do Hawkmoon a million times over, of try for the Titan Solar Leg armour (which I haven't got), or go for a DMT....at least on completion there will be an Exotic Drop! Unless it's bugged. For sure! Although I think in D1 there was more feeling of excitement behind getting the exotics than in D2 (prior to hawkmoon/dmt, lost sectors). Even if it wasn't what you were after, you could dismantle it into exotic shard for other stuff. I've been lucky with lost sector drops. After running a few GMs ive had death by those titans legs lol although stats arent anything to write home about. Still haven't got the dmt roll I want 🙄
