I've been playing this game alot recently, and with a lot of friends as well. And all i've experienced or hear from my friends is the amount of Bull"crap" there is. And how boring is it. And how bad PVP is. It feels like bungie does not care. It feels like bungie is doing nothing with the "crap" ton of money they've gotten. All I get from this game is frustration and annoyance.
Now please vote like/dislike/reply/poll. Do you think Bungie cares? at all?

Do the developers and others that actually work on the game care? I’m sure they do. Management above them? Probably not

32 RespuestasAha, but therein lies the core part of this shitshow’s myriad sins. Of course, if a team of devs wanted to create an objectively good game, they must pick a genre and the audience that comes with it to craft not only the game, but also to have a semblance of the playerbase that forms around it. Take a cold hard objective look at this shitshow’s development and history and you can come to a conclusion: Because of the way Destiny was made and continues festering on, it is rendered incapable of doing anything consistently, even down to lookin’ like they care. Yes, by all reasonable accounts, a game should keep in mind the whole of its playerbase and care about them. A good game makes this possible to do because the devs already know the genre and the audience that they’re dealing with from the beginning of the process. Their core concept is always clear. During its initial development at an unspecified point in time, it’s clear that Destiny and Bungo completely forsook this. The evident result was trying to create an online multiplayer FPS that takes many elements from several incongruous genres, primarily strict PvE games under the role-playing game umbrella, competitive PvP arena shooters and being a live service, and trying to have them all coexist within the same game. To make this ridiculous core concept work at even a bare-minimum level, Bungo had to have every incongruous genre-defined design aspect simultaneously watered down adjacent to each other. With that, this franchise’s fate was sealed. Now that Bungo could SAY their brand-spankin’ new franchise could have all of these aspects in the same game, all the audiences from all those genres came in and very quickly found themselves constantly at each other’s throats, even now. This is because the game not only doesn’t have all its varying design aspects at full depth, it can’t have them like that. Otherwise, the game could not even work at a minimal level as it is. To have it otherwise, it would require changes and redesigns so massive that the game wouldn’t even BE Destiny as it attempts to be anymore, as in it wouldn’t be trying to fuse together all these incongruous aspects anymore. And yet, that’s the only way the franchise can take to finally become good. To NOT be what it is. This problem goes far beyond to the very core of Destiny. It’s quite literally THE root problem. The one that all the others can be traced back to. And because of it, this franchise cannot have a middle ground. It cannot compromise. Its gameplay will always be braindead easy or bullshittingly artificially difficult. Its balancing, progression and content design will never be consistent. Its playerbase will always rip each other to shreds and never be unified. Its devs will always never get it right. It was always gonna end up this way and it was always gonna be an objectively bad game. If a game’s core concept is in of itself a flaw, then logic follows that every other design that spawns from it will also be flawed. Like I said, the franchise’s fate was already sealed. And looking at the past 7 years, nothing is going to change. This franchise is nothing more than a self-sustained tragedy, with the only players keeping it alive are those that don’t know any better and were never going to question anything about it anyway. The ones that never needed any expectations met besides whatever they can come up with to justify what the shitshow does. And so we arrive here! You think that Bungo oughta focus on being consistent, and you are right on the mark! But Destiny being how it is, that is impossible because the game it’s always tried to be is impossible! The main point ya oughta know is just this. Being an objectively good game has been outta Destiny’s prerogative since the start. No matter what promises are made and shattered, no matter the amount of lies have to be told, no matter who has to be fooled and who has to be disappointed, the only thing this abhorrent shitshow has to do is survive, and that’s it. What a shame, ain’t it? Hahahahahahah!

The sad part is they have no competition so this will never change.
-
They care if you if you purchase items from eververse.
-
I think the devs and creative teams care. The management, not as much.
-
Like most companies, they care about profits first - which lead them to cost saving and corner cutting - and corporate image second - hence charity work and virtue signaling. Communication and product quality should be higher priority.
-
Bungie only care about one thing.
-
Unless it effects their cash flow, no, Bungie management does not care.
-
1 RespuestaThey certainly don’t seem to care as much as they did for the first game. I think they’re trying to let Destiny 2 naturally die off so they can move onto their new project they’re working on
-
1 RespuestaI think they care about money, while doing the minimum to the game
-
I think they do a fair job at trying to look as though they do. That is all that is really mandatory. Keeps the lights on in a game they are letting die while they build the next money maker on it's back.
-
1 RespuestaImo saying bungie doesn't care is cynical. And if you want to be a cynic, that's your choice.
-
"we want to remove/reduce fomo". -> makes the master mode of vog have weekly based loot drops forcing people to do the raid every week to get the drop they want versus just making it rng and not screwing people out of the gun they want if they cant farm a week.
-
It’s about money and we are the commodity.

Editado por The2ndWave: 7/20/2021 6:30:42 PMThey don't. You don't need a poll to answer these questions. Your friends alone and you who plays says it all. Like EA say, "It's in the Game!" Just like it is here. The game expresses itself. Look at the Transmog scheme. Look at Bright Dust scheme. Look at the Eververse store. Look at Nightfall rewards. Look at old strikes, old raids, old locations, old guns and gear. Monetization is the only thing consistent here now. That says a lot about what the game is all about now. You don't even need everyone's opinion. It's just the icing on the cake. Your friends already says a lot. Even you yourself knows it. Trust yourself and what you experience. Most of the time, it's correct. Peace!

Bungie just wants your dough, nothing else.

21 RespuestasPosts like this are part of the problem why they take our feedback with a grain of salt. They do care and understand alot of the gripes of the community but its hard to be sympathetic when people insult the devs left and right like a bunch of entitled brats "bungo this and bungo that" Saw a post today call them "bunghole" Smh this community is amazing.

1 RespuestaFeels like the core dev team is off working on something else and we're getting minimal updates from the maintenance team. Most of the focus has been on milking players of every penny they have. I guess we are all to blame for putting out $10 for the season passes.

Editado por SuperAngrySnowman: 7/21/2021 7:16:36 AMDestiny has a passionate fan base.. Bungie has incompetent leadership that is incapable of realizing this and harnessing their passion into making the game great. They are too disorganized and cheap to effecfivley use the vocal player base to improve the game. They are thin skinned, they don't communicate with their fan base. All they do is put out a weeky post that states what they are going to do.. I feel that the average player thinks Bungie has the attitude that the players are employees and they are the "Boss". The Boss is in charge, they know what's best for the company and it's their company and they can run it how they like.. Failing to see that we're customers. Not employees. This is why people are pissed with Bungie. I've never seen a DEV comment on their own Bungie Feedback Forum.. They are terrible at communication with their fan base.. I would venture to say almost all of the player base is unhappy. Very much like a company with miserable employees that never get their needs attended to. The only thing that matters to Bungie is the money coming in. As long as they make more than they spend, who cares. We don't care if our brand is in Shambles, our sales are down and everyone involved hates the experience. Keep the cash flowing in untill it's gone.

12 RespuestasThey care about what makes them money and that’s about it
-
Don't worry. I'm sure they're listening.
-
1 RespuestaBungie doesn’t have to care. People like you and your friends talk about how bad the game is yet you play every day. This game will always be bad as long as people keep playing.

4 RespuestasI wanna say before this post gets taken down and I get striked. This is meant for discussion, and I in no way mean to put any negativity on the developers. They have a hard enough job. Remember it's not their fault if you think the games bad. It's the people telling them what to make, the people up on high making those decisions. So again there is no argument the developers who are making the game care for the work. I know I'm contradicting what I said Initially and I apologize for being a hypocrite.

3 RespuestasYall complain and moan yet play everyday.
-
dosent matter how much they care its what they can do with what they got
-
If they didn't care.. Would it be acceptable?
