Do you think crucible is in a good spot?
Please give your reasons on your vote.
Heres mine:
1. Lack of diverse maps
2. Unbalanced teams
3. Lack of diverse gamemodes
Edit: Thanks to all of your guys opinions and feedback. I hope this does get seen by Bungie so they can start working on pvp and see a lot of your guys suggestions on what could help at least make it better for all.

Kinda hard to gauge the meta when there’s so many players cheating.

Lack of region lock resulting in a multicontinent lag fest several times per play session, poor team balance, bad spawns, and large fireteams constantly matching nothing but solo players instead of other teams as they should are all issues. On top of that, the netcode is also garbage, always have been. If you teleport all over the map and/or don’t take damage due to connection issues you don’t get punished for it by having a poor experience, but instead you’ll most likely top frag.

1 RespuestaIt can be better in terms of special ammo economy and maps, but the primary game feels the best it has since season of dawn for me. There's just a lot more variety, and there are meta contenders from non meta archetypes.

It needs a lot of improvement, but as a foundation and baseline, it's great. Just needs more content, netcode fixes, and some balance changes (namely buffs).

3 RespuestasImagine not voting trash, makes me cringe that people voted otherwise, they probably don't play much. -bad netcode with extremely high latency. -running off halo reach engine. -rewards lazy, inventory spam, no primary, braindead playstyles. -feeds ego of kids who think they're good at FPS games by jumping at people with shotguns. -fundamentally busted map design for the movement speed and special economy currently in place. -full of cheaters, both blatant and closeted, and allows them to keep coming back if banned due to free to play and no paywall or anti cheat. -rng flinch direction, bloom, and way too much aim assist. When kids say "it's crispy!" It's just cuz of gross amounts of aim assist they're experiencing. -no new maps in years, instead lots removed. -removed guns we grinded for to reissue later. -horrible trials and comp systems regarding progression, incentives, and brackets of difficulty. -extremely unbalanced weapon archetypes. -promises renewed focus but instead shits on our face as cheaters rise up.

No 1. Weapon balance is all over the place 2. Matchmaking is the worse its ever been. 3. No Rift 4 Maps benefit only close quarters combat.

Never forget the absolutely terrible “peer to peer hybrid” server system that bungie refuses to acknowledge.

The most variety we've had in a while. I just want cheating fixes and consistency patches for general netcode issues. Maybe an update to a better tickrate than Minecraft?

I constantly feel terrible after playing, but I could do it for hours without getting bored. Not sure how one interprets that.

Naw this is the worse Crucible has every been. I mean people are going to talk about Erentil or NF but those were singular weapons that could have been tweaked individually or you know allow other underwhelming loadouts some buffs for once.

We are getting closer to player balance since the major nerf of stasis. With the exception of certain classes that are just straight worse than everything else such as blade barrage and nova warp, most of the mid to high tier classes are within good balance of each other and you can find ways to succeed with most. The biggest issue with the crucible that makes it unbearable is the extreme amount of special ammo available. Yes shotguns being as powerful as they are and map design are huge factors, but once shotguns are nerfed, the next special weapon will just take its place. 1 shot kill weapons are just way too abundant thanks to the extreme overturning on the ammo economy, and its been like this since forsaken. No one's asking for the double primary meta to come back, but we have to find the happy medium between what we have now and what we had in y1, cause special ammo is just all over the place man. It's too much and it runs the game and will continue to run the game until something is done.

Editado por CoolFusion: 6/25/2021 5:42:08 PMIt's a lot of Super and Class ability spam, too much special weapon ammo and abuse, poor map design, cowardly corner shotgun camping, exploitive slide abuse, cheating and hacking (PC), terrible respawn rotations and spawn trapping, Stasis freezing abuse, and last but not least, bad matchmaking and game mode mechanics. But, other that that, it's great. Also, Bungie doesn't care. And they won't read this.

2 RespuestasIt’s fine. It’s not the greatest PvP in the world and I think it’s weird people think it should be. It could be worse and yeah there are things that suck about it but the reasons those things suck is because they’re so obvious. -more maps(like ya said) if nothing else bring in all D1 and D2 maps and don’t bother ever adding more if they simply aren’t gonna care. This includes combined arms maps -why is comp here? For what purpose? And if it is here to stay, there is no difference between glory and valor since only one really matters at all, unless you’re going for the title. -balance, there could be some obvious things that need tweaking but I’ll be honest, Bungie has been hittin that decently. Sorta thought stasis would be king for the next few seasons but nah. - cheaters but that’s just because of the worst decision made, in my opinion, F2P. That being said. It ain’t every game so I shouldn’t complain too much.

Its in a terrible state at the moment. There are a couple of maps that I just back out of as they're so boring and poorly designed. The match making is dreadful and balance is way off. But that can be forgiven if it wasn't for the cheating.. its just a -blam!-ing mess. Give f2p one playlist and keep the rest behind a paywall so if you get banned for cheating, you'd have to buy the season again to play.

The sad thing of this is that as bad and unattended too that PVP is in D2. It has the most balance it has ever seen…. Well in QP anyway.

3 RespuestasNo it’s in a terrible state. Crucible won’t be enjoyable again until Bungie does something to address everyone crutching on energy ammo. Honestly everyone should be given a set amount per match and once you use it you’re out till the next match. That would balance pvp much better than it is now and force people to alternate between energy and kinetic as it was designed instead of crutching on a shotty or sniper the whole match.

2 RespuestasIt needs a overhaul but diverse game modes? No, it needs to do the core game modes. By that I mean Clash should be a permanent fixture. SBMM needs a place in Quickplay and a solo playlist going by how well it went down in Iron Banner. The way I would do it: Clash, CBMM and solo queue. Control, SBMM and fireteams. Reasoning; teams break CBMM so putting the solo queue and CBMM together makes sense. Bungie says Control is the most new player friendly game mode so putting that with SBMM makes the most sense.
