The sculpture goes down without a fight. It seems whatever these vines’ purpose was, it didn’t seem to be combat. Regardless, with the sculpture destroyed, there was very little else of note; the rest of the room had been torn apart.

Heading back out into the hallway you find a large bulge of vines takimg up the path to the Towers. Heading closer, they part ways like a curtain, allowing you entry into a large circular chamber.

"Totally not ominous. Anyone home?" He steps inside the chamber.

As you step inside, the vines behind you—perhaps predictably—closed, trapping you inside. Hanging above you, you could see a large piece of the glass hallway, hanging above you; likely the piece that had been separated for this chamber. The vines on the far side of the room began to shift, and a large vine monster rose up from the ground, with thick limbs and an arched back. One of its arms wasn’t made of the regular vines, but rather the glowing blue veins. The veined arm lifted itself, and an eye poked out from underneath, setting its sight on you.

"Hello, ugly." He falls into a defensive stance with his sword in one hand and the other poised above his gun. "I don't suppose you're here to surrender."

It roared, and slammed its vine-arm into the ground. The floor reacted to its blow, and several vine-spikes began to shoot up from below in a straight line, beading towards you.

He dashes to the side with his jetpack, covering more ground, (16) and launches a grenade into it. (11)

You swerve out of the way, and the grenade landed at its feet. The eye retracted into its arm, and it turned away so that the blue veins were facing the explosion when it went off. When the smoke cleared, it became clear it did so as some sort of shield, as the veins looked practically untouched. With its eye currently retracted, it began slamming its arm into the ground at random, sending out spikes all over the room in an erratic pattern.

He ran in closer, dodging as many spikes as he could (10) before leaping into the air and bringing his sword down on it. (18)

A few of the spikes lightly grazed you as you ran, but nothing serious. Your sword cleanly lands itself in where the creature’s head would be if it had one. It aimlessly stumbles around a bit, before swiftly and suddenly charging for a wall, intending to crush you between it and its body.

He uses his jetpack to boost right (9) and leaves behind an explosive present. (19)

Though you escape the crushing movement, you can’t get away fast enough to entirely dodge the explosion, amd it throws off your flight path, knocking you to the ground. The beast reeled as well, tumbling onto its back. As it lay there, the eye poked out of its hand to get a lock on you. Its body moved a bit, preparing some attack, though you couldnmt figure out what.

He fires a precise shot at the eye (12) and sets his forcefield. (14)

As your bullet struck the eye, it rereated back into its arm, and the beast merged itsef into the ground. A few seconds later, it cme up underneath you, scooping you up in one of its hands, and swiftly carrying you forward towards its other arm, to smash you between.

His sword crackles with electricity, and he swings it into the other arm (14) while using his jetpack to try to throw it off balance. (17)

Your sword crashes into the vein arm, but hardly leaves a dent in its surface. Still, between the jetpack and the blade, you manage to throw it off, and it winds up accidentally throwing you rather than crush. Its eye pokes out of its shoulder to get a grip on your location, and it begins charging towards you.

He dodges away (9) while launching torrents of flame into its eye. (16)

You try to dodge, but still wind up getting hit by its massive shoulder, throwing you to the side. It slides to a halt after barreling into you, and turns to face you just in time for the flames to strike the eye. With a roar, the eye retreats, and it begins swinging its arm about randomly, as it aimlessly ran about the room. It would no doubt hit you soon enough.

He launches a grenade into it (20) before leaping onto it. (13)

The grenade explodes, sending it reeling back towards the wall. You manage to leap onto it as its back was against the wall. Its blue arm swing towards you—and itself—as soon as it notices you.

He swings around it, trying to make it hit itself, (16) before slashing into it with his sword. (4)

You manage to swing to its side, but when its fist hit its own body, the vines seemed to make room for eachother, resulting in fairly low damage. Your sword cuts through the first few vines it encounters, but it soon hits a snag about halfway through its arm. The other vines took advantage of this, and began coiling around it, locking it within.

The shock goes off, but it’s insides don’t seem particularly vulnerable, and if it did hurt at all, the beast didn’t show it. Unfortunately its grip held, too, retaining its hold on the sword even as you tried to pull it out. It seems to have gotten sick of you clinging on, though, as its vine hand wraps around your chest and begins trying to pull you off.
