He cartwheels away (showoff) (13), and fires his weapon at the weapon of the one who still has a gun. (8)
-
Your plan works, and they’re both temporarily disarmed. Better tak them out quick, though, they’re already making a move to grab their weapons again!
-
He dashes in quick (12) and knocks their heads together. (14)
-
Your plan works, and you knock them both out. SAYU appears next to you. “I’ll have some security drones swing by and lock these two up, so don’t worry about them! You can keep doing whatever you’re doing!” She makes a heart shape with her hands. There are several exits from the Grand Hall; -There’s a path to the Garden, where Aubrey had formerly set up her fortress. -There’s a path down to Oceanview. -There’s a path to Amaterasu’s Gift; this is where most of the civilians should be. -There’s a path to Elysium. Aifos, Kokonoe, and Fukua live up there, but they’re all in the Observation Deck. -SAYU-Mart is here, too.
-
He heads to SAYU mart.
-
As you approach the store, SAYU appears not far from you, but she doesn’t greet you with her usual greeting. In fact, she has an annoyed look on her face, as she stared at her store, though she tried to hide it behind a smile. Looking in yourself, it was clear to see why; vines had formed a thick web throughout the entire facility. While you could probably get in, moving around wouldn’t be easy.
-
"How long would clearing this out take?"
-
“I don’t know..” SAYU said, hanging her head low in defeat. “I think they grow back when you cut them.”
-
"Anyone in here that needs to surrender?"
-
No response. If there is anyone in there, they’re not speaking up. “Don’t worry, nobody’s inside. Just a lot of [vines].” SAYU said.
-
"Any evidence of a source?"
-
“Oh yeah, it’s coming from [ERROR: User Unknown]’s secret [tunnel]!”
-
"You mean Aubrey. Is she in there?"
-
“I don’t know; I’ve never been in there. I can only appear within city limits.”
-
I wonder, if Cobalt and I are in the same room, could we work together?
-
Your replies aren’t very synced together. I tend to get yours early in the morning and/or late at night, while his tend to come in the afternoon (as per my timezone, of course). That said, it might work for a room or two, but the issue is jf you team up now, you’ll likely stay teamed up for a while. It probably wouldn’t work in the long run.
-
"Well, I'm going in. Any advice?"
-
“Fighting is your thing, not mine. Just, don’t do to much damage to my store, please?” SAYU made a heart shape with her hands.
-
"I'll try, cutie." He weaves his way through the vines.
-
On the other side, SAYU is already there waiting for you, loking over her shop with a sad look in her eye. You could hardly see the ceiling, walls, floors, or shelves; all of it covered by a thick layer of vines. From some ofthe shelves the vines coiled up to the ceiling, forming thick columns. After a few seconds, three vine creatures began crawling out from these columns, making their way towards you.
-
He gets some distance between them (16) and fires a grenade at the closest one. (18)
-
Your grenade hits, and the creature bursts in two. Vines sprouted out of the halves’ wounds, and they began using them to crawl around. One of the still-complete vine monsters climbed up on one of the shelves, and used the height to leap towards you from above.
-
He dodges away (18) and fires another grenade at it. (16)
The same rolls? Wow.
-
Well, the same rolls with a -2 penalty for a repeated attack. :p On another note, for not responding much yesterday. I was super tired, and could hardly stay awake on my work breaks.
The grenade hits the one leaping for you, causing it to burst into pieces. Now you had a problem, though; the four halves were surrounding you on all sides, and they still looked ready to fight! The two upper bodies began swiping their extendable arms at your feet.
-
He jets past the pieces (14) and fires back at them. (5)
