60 RespuestasJust another example of PvP ruining the game for everyone

17 RespuestasTo be fair, stasis was always 2nd, 3rd or even 4th rate in pve. You couldn't realistically run it in high level content.

4 RespuestasEditado por Mr Jim Lahey: 6/7/2021 7:03:13 PMExactly why this game needs a pvp mode that I’ve been suggesting You would hear far less pvp complaints “nerf this nerf that” If this game mimic a halo style pvp mode HURRY UP BUNGIE

57 RespuestasEditado por CookieNiki: 6/5/2021 10:26:00 PMAgreed 100%. As an example, Coldsnap Grenade was perfectly fine in PvE, there's absolutely no reason for the nerf. They launch a PvE expansion based on Stasis subclass just to nerf it a few months later for no other reason than to cater to PvP. This is just another indisputable proof of how the existence of PvP damages and holds back PvE in this game. **sighs** This game would be so much better without PvP! I wish Bungie decided to separate PvP from PvE completely, it would be a win/win for both modes.

Just adapt.

The only way they got players to play light, or at least most that were on stasis is to nerf the living crap out of it lol. I dont blame pvp players. Because stasis was broken in pvp but the thing is when bungie nerfs they dont target the issue, they just plain nerf the whole thing and do tiny updates that hardly shows any use for alot of the mods/abilities. Supers should of been the only thing that froze you, everything else either required all your abilities for ex. 2 shuriken and a dodge (hunters) to freeze you for .5 sec. I know even that ppl will have issues with but like I said uses all your abilities just to freeze 1 person for .5 Anyways I doubt we will see stasis go anywhere to nearly what we had for PVE , but most likely Light will be their next focus and ppl are gonna gravity that, so they'll sell it to you, even though that should be a QoL type of update. Stasis is still useful in some areas, warlocks and hunter but man the titans just got slapped back through time with that nerf.

13 RespuestasHarder to freeze pve enemies for cheap kills. Oh no. 😢

The problem is not separate sandboxes, but rather the inconsistency.

Editado por Erijian: 6/7/2021 7:09:08 PMOnly ever used Shadebinder in PvE and aside from Hedrons being changed I wouldn't even be able to tell it's been nerfed.

1 RespuestaPvp is why we can’t have nice things

Editado por Mii006: 6/7/2021 7:01:07 PMYou know the best thing you can do is not play PvP to spite it and Bungie. Don't play the playlist that is nerfing things on PvE side. There plenty of powerful and pinnacles on PvE side to get to light. There are plenty of challenges and bounties to get you to +15 light.

Stasis essentially making PVP unplayable was worse IMO.
-
The sad thing is they have separated changes between PvP and PvE previously, why they choose to be hit or miss on the continuation of that separation I can only speculate...

Editado por WalriderAlp: 6/7/2021 6:13:30 PM"The gameplay should feel about the same in either game mode" Well right now, that "feeling" is slow-paced and boring.
-
8 RespuestasIt's not ideal, but I'd rather see PvE be hurt than PvP continue to wither due to a horrid sandbox.
-
Every nerf feels like crap because bungie flat out lied to us about d2 to begin with, then continued to lie since then. It's a terrible way to treat your userbase, or anyone in general. But hey, it's 2021, words mean more than actions now.
-
7 years of Destiny and Bungie still can't separate updates (buffs and nerfs) between PvE and PvP. What did you expect? 🤣🤣🤣

30 RespuestasWhy would you run stasis in pve? Do you really need to freeze dregs?
-
4 RespuestasHi. I run Hunter stasis. No difference

3 RespuestasI’m going to level with you for a second. Pve in destiny is insanely easy. It’s just the way the game is. I know the scripted rebuttal is gm nightfalls or or soloing dungeons. However these things are only “hard” because they artificially were made to require a small amount of planning. The majority of the game you can go in with anything and be fine or go in geared and absolutely slay. That being said having something especially a super that’s over powerful just makes an easy game easier. It’s not like dungeons can’t be soloed without or or gms can’t be completed. When recluse was op and made an easy game mundane destiny became considerably more boring. On the flip side having stasis op made crucible awful. It removed any skill gap. I think the actual reason pve people are mad because since stasis they have convinced themselves they were good at pvp. Now they are experiencing a wake up call. TLDR: if stasis was a crutch and you feel the game is hard now I recommend mincraft or the logo games.

46 RespuestasDunno what you mean.... warlock stasis is still great in pve.... hunter stasis is still good in pve.... titan stasis was never good in pve...

8 RespuestasEditado por Evilman520: 6/7/2021 5:06:12 AMCheck out my Warlock if you want see a really strong Stasis PvE build Iceflare Bolts Glacial Harvest Whisper of Rime: shards heal and give Overshield Whisper of Conduction: Shards track to your location Whisper of Bonds: Frozen kills grant super energy Whisper of Torment: gain grenade energy when taking damage Cryosthesia 77K Mantle of Battle Harmony Cryosthesia pairs perfectly with Glacial Harvest for freeze on-demand, thus giving you free opportunity to create shards and Iceflare Bolts. Breaking frozen targets (which is basically everyone) gives you a boost in Super Energy BUT THATS NOT ALL Battle Harmony gives a boost in Super Energy or a damage boost when getting kills with a weapon matching your subclass element.... Cryosthesia is Stasis, so it works with Battle Harmony! I can get a Super faster than any other Stasis Subclass, I have constant survivability, my abilities are always ready for use whenever I need a quick freeze, and this allows me to use whatever Energy and Heavy weapons I want.

4 RespuestasThey ruined stasis for a free to play crucible that no one gives a flying f.....just because the sweats and streamers were actually having a hard time....its hilarious...enjoy your glorified ice cubes courtesy of the idiots that take crucible seriously and couldnt have their egos destroyed...for me if something is in the game its in the game and thats it...cause what is annoying for me may be the reason for playing this game for someone else....if only people werent so egocentric....now we wait for the witch queen overtuned darkness subclass...hopefully will be a few months of fun before history repeats itself...cheers

Behemoth in PvE feels exactly like the Nova Warp nerf for Warlocks: much needed in PvP, but absolutely dead in PvE.
-
3 RespuestasTo all those saying PvP ruins this game. If they took it out, there’d still be random nerfs and buffs. You may continue to be toxic toward one another, just wanted to make sure that was clear. Anyways, yeah OP it sucks but to be honest it’s not that horrible in PvE and will probably get a lil pick me up in a season or two.
