I realized this after finding out about the Light Disruptor devices Caiatl was planning to use against us and that would explain why she was so confident she could take us. Here is a rough timeline of events that happened during the Bombardment in Dark Future and what our altered version could've looked like after just one mistake the Pyramids alluded to in Season Arrivals. The mistake, was hesitation and fear leading to Weakness, Failure, and Death.
1. Eramis rises as kell of House Salvation on Europa.
2. Zavala takes even longer to give us intel of activity on Europa, dismissing them as a credible threat. This is mentioned in the Rime Ghost Shell lore entry.
3. Eramis calls us out. We go to Europa where her entire army mastered Stasis without the need for technology. A small army of Guardians goes there and a second Great Disaster ensues when we find Light stands no chance against Stasis.
4. Survivors narrowly report back to the Last City. The aftermath damages our morale to go to war with Caiatl. We take up defensive position out of fear of Stasis.
5. Xivu Araths Cryptoliths go unchecked due to orders to stay on Earth and prep.
6. Caiatl's unchallenged council discovers the Deep Stone Crypt and learns to wield Stasis. Caiatl, further bloodlusted by Darkness, attacks the City and deploys Light Disruptors.
7. We failed to learn Stasis and now we are Lightless and going up against Exo Fallen and Cabal with Stasis power. We spot defected Guardians among Eramis' army. The end has begun.
8. Xivu Arath arrives with armies of Wrathborn in addition to her own Hive boldly outside the City walls. Reportedly, she is 200 feet tall.
9. Savathun's taken go unchecked and overrun the EDZ and shortly after, attack the Last City.
10. The Last City and its Guardians fall to Xivu Arath who annihilates Eramis and Caiatl. Savathun retreats and so too does Humanity on evacuation ships...until the unchecked Scorn and the Egregore on the Glykon attack the fleeing ship passing by.
And that would be the end. All because we didn't use Stasis and that one defeat by Eramis snowballed quickly.

2 RespuestasWhen I completed this weeks quest about Zavalas assassination plot. I wondered if the light disruptors would be part of a secret exotic later this season. Typically each season has 3 exotic weapons and so far we only have 2.
